The HobbyZone® Super Cub Bind-N-Fly version gives first-time pilots the benefit of HobbyZone’s Anti-Crash Technology plus the flexibility of starting with a Spektrum DSM2 2.4GHz full range aircraft radio (sold separately). With a Spektrum radio, you can teach yourself to fly or “buddy box” with an nstructor. And whatever Spektrum radio you choose will grow with you as you progress to other aircraft.

With the Super Cub you can teach yourself to fly by mastering the basics of throttle, steering and pitch control with the assistance of HobbyZone’s exclusive Anti-Crash Technology (ACT™). ACT ensures your first flights are smooth and stable by using special optical sensors and software that analyze your flight path. If ACT “sees” you are losing control and entering a steep dive, it reacts quickly to help prevent a crash by actually helping you regain control.

After you’ve mastered the basics, you can turn Anti-Crash Technology off with the flip of a transmitter switch. With ACT off, your Super Cub will be capable of more advanced maneuvers such as steep turns, loops and tail slides.

Everything you need to get flying, except a transmitter, is included in this box and you can be up and flying in as little time as it takes to charge the battery pack and bind the transmitter. You also get the added excitement of HobbyZone’s exclusive X-Port™ technology that lets you add remotely controlled functions like parachute drops (requires Aerial Drop Module™ - (sold separately). There’s even an optional float kit (sold separately) that lets you turn any lake or pond into a back country, bush-flying adventure.

HobbyZone Super Cub LP Bind-N-Fly Electric Airplane
Hi, My name is Jim Green and I am a member of the Florence Area RC Air Club. I have Purchased the Super Cub LP Bind and Fly. First of all Hobby Zones shipping is rite on , 3 days UPS from order date to it showing up on my front porch (not bad).
Upon opening the box I found It to be a very well packed product. There was a real instruction manual with ALL of the information needed to get her going and a neet instructional video to go with it. (rare these days) Everything included except the transmitter. All componants 5 channel spektrum reciever ESC combo, servos and motor can be reused in another machine if you so choose. This is a true Bind and Fly Bird with a DX7 TX and default settings work all the functions perfectly. However it comes with rudder plugged in to aileron ports to simulat a 4 channel I'm sure but I prefer to plug it into the rudder port where it belongs.Total assembly time was about 23 minutes from start to finish and even though the charger instructions say an hour charge time for 11.1v 1300Mha Lipo's it actually only takes about 18 minutes @ 1.5 amps with included charger and about 6 to 8 minutes on my thunder charger T606. Actual flight time on included 1300 Mha Batt is about 13 to 15 minutes if your not in the throttle to hard and about 10 to 12 minutes if you are doing acrobatics. The ACT tech onboard will not let you get the model out of shape at all as long as you are high enough ( 3 mistakes high) with this it is safest to be about 40 ft minimum for ACT to be effective but it does work and it does work well. This is a begginer plane I would recomend to any new Pilot.

HobbyZone Super Cub LP Bind-N-Fly Electric Airplane
I haven't flown for quite a few years, and chose this to get back into the hobby. This is a great little plane that will build your confidence quickly. It is very forgiving, and on my first flight I had the ACT off, and was doing loops. With practice, you can flip it in a half loop and hold it inverted to. Contrary to what I had convinced myself of prior to purchase, this plane has plenty of power to pull itself (or yourself!) out of trouble. It evens handles a stiff breeze quite well. Landing and slow flying is a cinch. 5 stars all the way. A great deal $$$ for such a good model. BTW: I fly it on a DX6i.
