HobbyZone Champ RTF Electric Airplane (517mm)
This is hands down the most fun I have had with any RC airplane in 40+ years of modeling. Flew it all last year with no troubles at all. I often use the roof or trunk lid of my car as a runway for take off. It will climb to a speck in the sky in two minutes, and turns 8 minute flights without hitting the motor cutoff point. Flying in close near dark the red led on the receiver board visibly lights up the motor cowling air openings. Cool.
There is one rule- little or no wind.

Update: My plane is still flying great, but I now realize that you should definitely by the foam safe glue. Whoops.

HobbyZone Champ RTF Electric Airplane (517mm)
I learned to fly on this thing 4 years ago, so when I saw one at my LHS I had to pick it up. This thing flies great for something so small, and I use it for indoor gym flights. Very entertaining for pilot and spectators alike. Great quality, my first one took a beating before I totaled it (all in the name of learning!

HobbyZone Champ RTF Electric Airplane (517mm)
Great durable plane. Wish the motor was a bit stronger. A light windy day makes the flight challenging but that's what increases flight experience. Love this plane. Lots of fun flying.

HobbyZone Champ RTF Electric Airplane (517mm)
Fiance bought this for me as a christmas present. First flight rudder broke off and it was the nose that hit the ground. Scotch taped it. Over all this thing flys every bit like a $200 beginner plane. According to hobbyzones video if you let off the sticks it will gradually come down on it's own. I tried it several times and instead it actually tended to climb rather than descend this plane loves to climb. Very easy to fly and affordable. I recommend to any beginner.

This was my first RC plane. First flight was a success (no crashes or breaks). For the money, it cannot be beat.
