Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
Great esc for the price. Easy to program with the Hobbywing program card #HWA30501003. I couldn't use the Hobbywing Multifunction LCD Program Box that I use for my other Hobbywing esc's with this. Was a nightmare programming without the card. Counting flashes and holding a tiny button I easily lost track of what I was adjusting. My advice is to get the card from the start and avoid the headache. On the track it is smooth and has great punch. Fan a little louder then the XR10 Juststock and footprint slightly bigger. Biggest negative is if you race it is not roar approved and no blinky flash. You can set it to zero timing it just doesn't blink. But for just having fun and running mod it's a steal of a buy imo.

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
I use this in my B74 race buggy .. my opinion it can perform just as well as any other esc.. I got it at the time because of budget .. but now i have been so pleased with performance that i dont think i will upgrade for the rest of the season... no reason to. It just works ! ... many race days so far and I have watched other expensive esc's die this race season .. but this one shows no signs of giving up. Awesome performance for the price !

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
This is a terrific esc for 1/10 mod racing yes it’s not something super in depth on tuning but that’s kinda what truly makes it nice is the simplistic nature of it it’s very easy to setup and fairly easy to trackside tune yes it’s got a lil bigger footprint but it fits nicely in a 2wd Buggy as I have it in mine I usually run the V3.1 or the XR10 Pro but money was tight and I wanted to race so yes at some point one of my favorites will be put back into the buggy but I’m in no hurry as this esc is working out just perfectly my only complaint is that I wished hobbywing would have put the better wire that they run on the V3.1 or XR10 Pro but when your trying to budget every lil thing helps so all in all it didn’t make me faster but it didn’t make me slower so if money is an issue look no further it’s not going to get any better then this

I have this thing in a short course modified oval car with a 6.5 and it barely gets warm. Buy all of them.

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
This is a great ESC. Not a bunch of options but gives you the basics for a small price. It can be programmed using the Wifi module. Has settings for timing adv, brake adjustments, and DDRS. I have this in a ET410 Truggy with a 6.5T motor.

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
Great ESC! I run it in 13.5T 4wd buggy and it never lets me down. Easy to setup and forget it. Its a bit on the large side, but in a my b64d it fits perfect and I do not mind the extra weight up front. (edit - yeah it does not do blinky and is not roar approved for spec/stock classes. I don't race often though, but I run it at 0 timing. When I do club race I am not winning anyways which is my fault not the ESC haha)

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
This ESC has worked great. You just can't beat it for the price. Based on other recommendations found on Amain, I also purchased the HWA30501003 Hobbywing LED Program Card. This makes tuning fast and easy. Most of my changes have been to braking force, drag brake, punch control, and timing. It's definitely helped in dialing in my 1/10 Stadium Truck for the clay track I run on. You won't be disappointed with the purchase.

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
I bought one of these directly from Hobbywing web site.
Work OK but the drag brake is very non linear and the step between 80% and 100% drag brake is much bigger then that
no problems running it in my B5m with a Reddy 17.5 Sonic MK-3
program box works fine but have to keep the instructions handy because the label on the program box does not exactly match the instructions.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, I see everyone's glowing reviews and have loved my other HW products, but I have now had 2 of these in a row fry on me. Works great for 20 minutes.

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
As always Hobbywing makes great ESCs for the price, and this is no different! This is a fantastic ESC, I am currently running two - one is in a 1/16 Summit doing some bashing/crawling, and the other is in a 22 5.0 doing mostly street driving, and they both work perfectly! So far they're handling the abuse I've given them and they almost don't need to be running the fans cause it runs fairly cool even with the fan unplugged.

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
2nd defective hobbywing product I have purchased in last two months. Hobbywing quality control has definitely went down hill. This one never powered up right out of box.

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
Note:
This review is in NO way related to Amain's customer service. Amain's customer service is second to none!!!

That been said,
I have purchased numerous of these ESC's and never had a problem with them. I know that this esc leans more to the economical side, so I don't expect the best of the best. But I do expect them to function. As of late the last two of these esc's I purchased the fan only function for about ten second before they die. I know fans aren't that expensive but it is extremely frustrating to finish a build and several minutes later, "Disappointments" I don't know if its a bad batch of fans or quality control is dropping the ball, but Hobbywing needs to get their game face on and correct these issues.

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
Love these esc's, super easy to set up and program, tons of power, perfect for someone trying to get into racing on a budget. Only thing I would knock is that it doesn't have reverse polarity protection, and I blew one up, but that's user error and not a fault of the product. Used in an associated b6.4d, power is quite smooth as well and punch is excellent

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
For the price, this esc is great. I don’t think it’s quite as smooth as the higher end offerings but it is 1/3 the price. Certainly not 1/3 the performance. I run this in mod stadium truck class and this esc holds up to anything from a 13.5 to 6.5 turn motor with no problems. Brakes could be a bit stronger but are adequate when turned up all the way. Only miss here is it doesn’t offer a blinky mode setting - if it did, it might just be too perfect.

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC
Great esc but is still on the box. Great price for the thing that offer, and any need to know this esc is not waterproof or splash be careful and only use on dry road or off road. The esc is waiting to be use with 4.5t motor, and my Traxxas 4-TEC 2.0 can once against to be alive

Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 120A Sensored Brushless ESC

Purchased this ESC and XErun motor form Hobbywing to upgrade my kids Team Associated PRO4SC10 ESC and motor. The car ran great lots of power for a minute; stopped to check the unit and the fan stopped working. Took the car to local hobby shop to check over the car, nothing was found now the ESC will not work. Contacted warranty department told them the ESC you did not last over a minute. Hobbywing basically to buy a new one. Some warranty!!! Buy other than Hobbywing they have not warranty or customer support.
