The Hobbywing OTA Smartphone ESC Module Programmer is designed to wirelessly connect your ESC to your smartphone, using the Hobbywing HW Link APP to clearly display and adjust all parameters of the ESC. The graphical man-machine interface of drop-down list boxes and scroll bars is set up to make the parameter adjustments easier to use and more specific than ever before. The OTA programmer supports real-time data recording and stores the data in its memory, allowing the driver to access the current running status of their vehicle. With additional features such as seamless bluetooth transmission and a one-touch factory reset button, this programmer takes so much of the hassle out of managing your vehicle's ESC.

NOTE: This module is compatible with some XERUN, EZRUN, PLATINUM and SEAKING series ESC's. Refer to the ESC manual to ensure that the OTA programmer is compatible.

very easy to use and best thing it has a reset button on the back if you ever run into problems. i love the app it's very user friendly and tons of adjustments. do your research on the settings and watch charlie on you tube. play with it and see what those settings do. alot of times the factory default works very well.

Wasn't sure how I was going to feel - I have plug in ESC programmers, but this takes it to another level. I can now change and modify settings on my Hobbywing ESC that were clumbsy with other brands and programmers. I downloaded the latest app for my Android S23 phone - I think there were a couple firmware updates. I did like the fact that I could leave it plugged in during practice - stop on the side, reprogram and reboot the ESC. Back at it!! It was nice to adjust punch and drag brake and dial down the throttle for a newb.. I own one and now many Hobbywing ESC's to go with it!

Works super easily with the app. Tons of options to play with. I love the data logging features. Will stick with the Hobbywing ecosystem because of their solid products and easy to use programming tool.

Totally worth the investment. Super easy to use and takes the guessing out. Highly recommend Bluetooth over WiFi version and if you have WiFi now you won't regret purchasing this upgrade.

MY EXPERIENCE is as follows. My android device will not see it as anything except bluetooth, fought with it for two days. In the videos I've watched, as the HW tech support only repeats the manual, the module is always recognized as wifi then the app opens up to a world of beautiful operations. My guess is the android device has to be a newer version, something that should be advertised so money isn't wasted on a product that doesn't work. Taking someones money in exchange for a misrepresented product is just theft. AN UPDATE, Android 7 must be to old as I just had to replace it with version 12 and the OTA works perfectly. Amain offered troubleshooting help and Hobbywing was exceptional in helping solve the issue. Thank you!

I am struggling to use this. I have a new XR8 Pro and it doesn't plug into it directly. you need a reducer to plug into two prong fan port when the programming port is right next to the fan port. makes no sense

The module I received was likely previously owned. Despite multiple resets by using the small button on the back of the device, all connection attempts failed. I attempted to connect by WiFi and Bluetooth. Both modes of connection ultimately failed. The previous owner gave this device a unique name that appeared in the Bluetooth mode. I will be returning this as it is not functional.
