The Hobbywing EZRun Max8 Waterproof Brushless ESC/Motor Combo with installed XT90 connectors includes a 2200kV sensorless motor to create an all in one power system upgrade for your Monster Truck and other high power applications. This package also includes a Hobbywing Program Box to adjust ESC program settings.
The 2200kV EZRun 4274 Sensorless Brushless Motor is compatible with 2-6S LiPo batteries and is a perfect choice for 1/8 scale electric monster trucks such as the Pro-Line Pro MT 4x4, HPI Savage and Thunder Tiger E-Mat.
NOTE: Photos show T-Plugs on the ESC. This ESC has been updated and now includes XT90 connectors.

Hobbywing Ezrun combo esc is the way to go. Top quality reliable, dropped this set up in Arrma Limitless, gear with 50t center diff and 18T pinion, great for parking lot running. No heat issues,can still do 60mph on 6s. Being able to run parallel batteries is ideal for lower Cg and overall balance.

I bought this combo for my E Revo 2.0 and so far could not be happier with how it's performed. It's a noticeable difference over the stock motor and ESC, even though both motors are 2200kV (the Hobbywing motor is actually a little smaller and lighter than stock.) The fact that this combo comes with the programming card, additional capacitor pack and a spare fan is super legit in my opinion. 5 stars for sure.

I'm not sure if I got a bad esc from the factory but this esc lasted 15 minutes and burnt up. I've never had a issue with hobbywing before.

Put this in my Rustler 4x4 VXL. All I can say is wow. With the stock electronics and stock gearing I was always hitting thermal shutdown in the south Florida heat, even with fans. I have 4S batteries on the way so for now I'm running 3S with a Robinson 54T spur and 20T pinion. This thing screams. I get just as long if not longer run times on 3s and no overheating. Ran it hard through a whole pack and the motor was only at 128 degrees in the middle of the day. Love the options the programing card has and it's very easy to use. Will definitely continue to buy Hobbywing products and shop at Amain.

I Installed in my hpi trophy truggy flux I still haven’t got it programmed completely . From what little run time I’ve got on it I’m very surprised because for the $$$ spent it is quite a bit more power than the truggy already had in it . I will do a update to the review after I get it completed and can do some speed runs and some backyard bashing but for now definitely would purchase again!!!!

These are great 1/8th or 4x4 1/10th systems. I bought this one for my Ryft, but decided to go sensorless with it, so this will now go into my Scale Built No Prep Steet Eliminator build.
Hobbywing setups are good quality systems. I have had a few, and this Max8/2200kv combo wont be my last.

Great performance in a small package. I put this set up in my arrma notorious and what a drastic improvement over stock. Also the program card it came with makes set up a breeze and gives you the ability to fine tune the esc for your driving habits

What can you say when it comes to HobbyWing?!?!? Some hate some love! I love my 150amp esc and the amazing 2200kv motor. I put this combo in my traxxas Slash and it’s so different. Faster longer runs and heats not an issue! I highly recommend this combo!!
