Great system! The Max6 is basically the best basher ESC for anything 8th scale and up, and the 5687 motor is ridiculously smooth with a ton of power to boot as well.

I ordered this set for my XMAXX 8S to replace a failed stock ESC and motor. In order to use these though you have to buy a gear set that will fit the 8mm motor shaft (I ended up going with a Mod 1.5 set, 25T pinion, 35T spur) and an aftermarket motor mount (the one that I got didn't quite fit the motor mount screw holes perfectly, so I had to drill the chassis holes a bit bigger to fit). I guess I should have done some more research as these two additional pieces drove up the cost quite a bit. It was also a bit of a pain in the butt setting the gear mesh due to the adjustment screws not being easily accessible (but this isn't a motor or esc problem).
Once everything was said and done though, this new setup makes the stock setup look like a kids toy. The power and speed with the new setup is amazing. I have had two issues though: 1. The ESC keeps hitting its' temp shut off. I'm going to look into trying the mount it up a bit so it can get some more airflow (as it sits down in the middle pretty tightly). And 2, something happened with the set screws on the pinion and now the pinion is 'stuck' on the motor shaft.
The power is amazing, but beware, it's not as simple as just taking out the stock motor/esc and putting these in straight away.

My esc caught on fire and then proceeded to explode in my face after on 3 uses. Waiting to see if amain can make this right and will change the review pending action

Bought for my 8s outcast to replace stock way more power you will need for arrma a motor mount plate for the big can motor and a 8mm pinion
