All I can say if you are looking to upgrade your 5th scale motor, look no more, this thing is a beast on 8s, dropped this one into my kraton 8s and is a completely different truck.

This motor with wfo mod 1.5 gears (22/35) and max5 speed controller is an absolute beast in my x maxx I have 0 complaints. what a motor insane power and top end.. when I go from 3/4 throttle to full she pulls wheelies at 50 mph also making at least 40 ft high jumps

Running this motor in my Kraton 8s Exb 1/5 and it is awesome plenty of power

Put this in my Kraton 8s, I am running the stock spur with a 24T pinion. She flies and I am very happy with the motor, its very smooth and has plenty of power, a significant upgrade over stock even though stock is a 1250kv. I have it on the stock mount, you have to drill it out, the bolt holes are not at the correct spacing so you have to drill yourself a new bolt hole. If you don't like the idea of that you can always jump on EBay and grab a PPS mount, that has the correct 30mm bolt spacing and will allow you to run up to 44t pinion on the stock BLX spur, the M2C mount is made to work with their chassis where is the PPS mount is just a new slider. With the gearing I am using the motor ran hot using Zeee 7000mah @100c, I am using the stock ESC (160a Spektrum Firma) and it runs great! You don't need the combo just get the motor, also the BEC on the Firm will run at 8.4v for your high trq servos and the Max6 only runs at 7.4v. I used an NHX twin fan (16000 @8.4v) and heat sink from Ebay and it did the job really well for cooling the motor and for the ESC I put a 40mm Rocket fan (21000 @8.4v) on an Ebay mount and it works flawlessly. Very happy with the motor and thinking of getting another for my X-Maxx.
