The HobbyPlus CR-24 1/24 Defender RTR Scale Mini Crawler brings unrivaled performance to the micro scale world. With a host of details rarely found in a micro size rig, like a chassis mounted servo, FPV ready waterproof electronics, lithium battery and standard 3 wire servo, this mini rig offers enthusiasts an affordable, well equipped, great performing ready to run option.
The CR-24 Chassis features a unique transmission designed to deliver incredible torque at low speeds for a controlled crawling experience. Waterproof electronics are powered with a lipo battery to give you over forty five minutes of run-time on one charge. The wheels have an internal beadlock design with tires made of a super soft compound for excellent grip. This scale micro crawler comes with a ready-to-run body with a protective metal roll-cage.
But the CR-24 delivers more than performance. The detailed Defender body offers classic lines and one of the most detailed offerings in the 1/24 crawler world. The CR-24 provides a great scale appearance out of the box, while offering an ideal base to add personal custom touches. Don't Buy if you are looking for the bronze shell!!! Amain must have got a bunch of TAN colored shells and labeled them bronze to help sales! A bit of FALSE advertising!!! The truck is good and preforms OK for what it is... It has a great drag brake(let go of the throttle on a hill and it doesn't move at all). Tires are soft and grippy! Weak point was the U-Joints(Plastic on earlier models)... This model has metal U-Joints so nice plus there. It suffers from steering drag or binding because there are only bushings not bearings in this truck so you may also want to get the FastEddy bearings set for the CR-24. The truck should get a 4 star rating but I rated the complete experience of the purchase... I took a star off for amain's obvious deception and the fact that the advertisement has not been corrected.

I did not try to contact amain directly about this issue, I just left this review. Amain contacted me based on my review and has since corrected the issue with regards to the color in their ad and gave me a partial refund.
I am a business owner as well so when amain contacted me and gave me the choice to return or receive a partial refund I knew that they were a STAND UP company... I will Buy from them again and I recommend amain for all your RC needs.
I've changed my Rating from 3 stars to 4 stars for the CR-24 plus a star for amains excellent customer service!!!
