The HobbyPlus CR-18 1/18 RTR Scale Mini Crawler brings unrivaled performance to the micro scale world. With a host of details rarely found in a micro size rig, like a chassis mounted servo, FPV ready waterproof electronics, lithium battery and standard 3 wire servo, this mini rig offers enthusiasts an affordable, well equipped, great performing ready to run option.
The proven CR-18 chassis offers incredible axle articulation with minimal bump steer thanks to superior linkage geometry and panhard system. A super low 104:1 ratio transmission combined with a ring and pinion drive system provides the low end torque necessary for performance, without sacrificing top speed like a worm drive system. Finally, true beadlock wheels secure super grippy, scale size tires allowing the CR-18 to claw its way through technical terrain.
But the CR-18 delivers more than performance. A selection of highly detailed bodies with classic lines and tons of detail provide a great scale appearance out of the box, while offering an ideal base to add personal custom touches. So, whether you want to crawl indoors or out, or maybe just want to build a super scale mini-size rig, the HobbyPlus CR-18 offers it all in a high performance, affordable and upgradeable platform with the performance needed to tackle the road less traveled.

Truck is very powerful for its size and has good climbing ability also has detailed body shell and lighting. Very good suspension articulation very fun to climb pillows and piles of hot wheels.
The not so good
Truck has a loud electrical noise when accelerating i think this had a defective motor from beginning. On the second charge I noticed the truck was surging and it still had a lot of battery left. Also noticed the motor took on a different noise not very good kinda grindy sound.
I called hobbytown and expressed my concern and I was told a service tech would call me back. I did get a call back from a tech he was very understanding of the problem and told me it was likely the motor which I kinda already figured. He said he would send me a couple replacment motors but alas they are on backorder so I will wait.
So all in all I like the truck wish it was more durable like my scx24 but the motors are cheap if you can get one.
So three stars for truck 5 for customer service.
