Hitec Flash 8 2.4GHz 8-Channel Aircraft Radio System w/Optima 9 Receiver
I have the Flash 8 Transmitter and the Maxima 6 receiver. So far a huge disappointment. Ben working for 2 days to get the receiver to pair. Following the book precisely. After 20 attempts I finally got it to pair somewhat. Except now when it is turned on the servos chatter about as though I'm getting severe interference. I have a message into Hitec as I can't get a real person on the phone. I'll have to see how it pans out. Right now am severely pissed about getting this.

Today arrive my new HITEC FLASH 8. The package was made very well for airfreight to my country Chile. The Transmitter is the best option for me in order to the competition of F5J motor glider because the slider in both sides of the transmitter gives precise control of the throttle during the climb and the left gimbal, make the mix of butterfly configuration for spot landing (Mode 2) The transmitter has 4096 bit of resolution for very precise movement of the control surface when you are using digital servos and MAXIMA receiver. But work very well too with the including OPTIMA 9 receiver and the rest of the OPTIMA and MINIMA receiver when you use analog servos. The most important characteristic is the fast 7 ms frame rate latency when you use MAXIMA receiver, against the 11 ms in the DSMX from SPEKTRUM systems. The price is according to the market but is convenient for 8 channel radio system. I have many years flying with AFHSS transmission and never had a signal miss during the fly. This is a good radio transmitter with an advanced frame and a good price. A Main Hobbies has very fast delivery and the shipping was only 2 business days.

Hitec Flash 8 2.4GHz 8-Channel Aircraft Radio System w/Optima 9 Receiver
I've been flying this radio for over two years and love it! The feel is lighter and thinner. Balance is perfect. The sticks are very smooth. With Optima receivers, it works with digital or analog servos. With Maxima receivers it is supper fast and works only with digital servos. It has all the features that I could need. The Transmitter battery charges in an hour. I fly 3DHS and Extreme Flight planes and I am very pleased with my Flash 8.
