This is the Hitec High Votage D625MW High Speed Metal Gear Servo. The metal D-625MW is part of Hitecs D-Series servo line. All Hitec D-Series servos have been designed using Hitecs redesigned, cutting edge, custom engineering. Combining industry leading high-resolution, state-of-the-art ultra-response technology with a 32-bit MCU and 12-bit ADC for unprecedented programmability and flexibility, these servos deliver significantly smoother movement. The speedy, powerful line operates on a wide 4.8 ~ 8.4 voltage range, allowing use with any common battery chemistry without the need for adapters or regulators. Featuring Hitec’s industry standard 25-tooth output spline with 3mm hex screw, each D-Series servo brings monster performance never known before in the market.

Hitec D625MW High Speed Metal Gear Servo (High Voltage)
Incredible value. I have 100$+ brushless servos that do not hold their position as well as the 625MW. I am also really impressed with how this servo has absolutely no free play. Obviously at that price point it's not very fast, but I found it worked very smoothly and can't complain about it's performance.
I use it at 6v on a 1/10 scale on-road car.
The only small complaint is that Hitec market it as part of the D series that supposedly work on up to 8.4v (connected direct to a 2S battery) but that servo is actually only rated for up to 7.4v.

Zero slop, excellent resolution and centering.. slow return to neutral when powering on rocks! For this price this servo has far exceeded my expectations! The only drawback is that this D625 only has stated torque of up to 10kg while the other D645 only has up to 12kg, however if your application only has requirements within this torque range, u cant go wrong with this servo.. i have found a new go to servo for my large warbirds :)
