This is a set of two Hot Bodies Megabite 1/8 Buggy Tires. These tires are pre-mounted on white dish wheels. Hot Bodies Megabite tires are fantastic mini-pin tires that are suitable for hard & dry off-road surfaces such as hard-packed clay (including 'blue groove'), light dust conditions, and regular clay.
With hundreds of short square pins arranged around the carcass providing fantastic traction on the corners and a central double-row of extra-wide treads giving you excellent acceleration and stopping power, you can't go wrong on well-groomed, dry, hard dirt when you use the HB Megabite!
HB Tire Compounds:
- Pink: Extra-soft for extra grip in low traction environments.
- Red: Soft for racing or low-traction surfaces.
- White: Medium, great for practice and all-around use.

Everyone at the indoor clay track insisted I try these tires. I bought the pre-mounts wondering if they would be good. I was impressed by everything. The rims are very durable. More so than AKA or proline. The foams are a bit old school molded style but they work great. No issues at all. The rubber is fantastic on the hard clay track and although they don't last forever they certainly outlasted a few other brands I used on the same track. Oh yeah and they stayed glued all day long. Perfect indoor clay tire.
