The E817 V2 1/8 Racing Buggy Kit!
Get ready, the E817 V2 1/8 scale 4WD electric buggy is coming soon from HB Racing. The “Version 2” of the E817 buggy is topped with a clear JConcepts Silencer buggy body and an updated molded nylon rear wing that is lightweight and more durable than polycarbonate wings. A narrow rear shock tower with revised shock length has been added for expanded range of shock adjustment. Updated machined aluminum 17.5° front caster blocks have been updated for extra strength. Updated aluminum steering linkage spacers replace the plastic spacers for improved bumpsteer geometry, more precise adjustment, less flex, and we revised the screw lengths to accommodate the updated spacers. Other updates include universal drive shafts, increased clearance ball end links, and updated body mounts.

2-build kit really liked the fact that oomplete to the same shocks a lot of clips to choose from( in asso losi mugen no such thing)
3-the model on the track very well edit! we immediately see that model champion
4-in chassis design a lot of carbon, which is very durable and lightweight
5-also in the construction of many settings by itself(each holder has a spacer with a huge selection of under him, and in his fists and it is only HB
6-the quality of the cover very durable
7-in stock is the suspension in aluminum (no such asso losi mugen)
8-horizontal struts ( model very tough and durable! this is good)
9-big bearings in all places is a big plus compared to all other brands!!!
10-main differential pair of the best there is (in the transmission there is not a single bolt that can spin!
11-drive in the powertrain Yuni drive
12-Best lineup of the chassis( pozvolyaet very quickly to remove all the electronics that would wash model! this is a very cool
13-a lot of cool tuning available!
14-the HB brand itself is very durable! this is the best model of 2018!
on this model, I took first place in the 1st stage of 2018
HBracing company made a winner.
As most people do, they either go with the popular set up sheet from top pros, or the base set up in manual. Take either. Page one, well, you must go buy parts to even build to STOCK set up. They give you 16 shock pistons, all which are wrong. So you gotta at the very least, go buy a drill bit set and drill out pistons. So think about this...They want you to drill a 1.5mm and 1.6mm hole. So this is so critical, the 0.1mm is needed for optimal performance. What about a crooked hole? Can you drill 20 holes exactly straight? Does the buggy perform bad because you drilled holes a few degrees off?
So you get the pistons and you think you are set. They recommend 45 and 40 oil for shocks. Sweet, kit comes with correct oil right? Nah...they give you two bottles of 500.
Once you are pretty disgusted with the shocks, move to the diffs. You better buy a tap set when you order the drills, because you are guaranteed to strip the diff screws. They are nearly an inch long, and the holes are way too small. You must grease the screw, force each one in. Half of the screws will get stripped or close to it even when greased. You need something better than a HUDY driver to have any luck.
Manual is junk.
The buggy performs well on the track, but its basically a lesser quality tekno. Yes, I know the big names run HB, but they are paid. Its not because this buggy is great (and I was a big HB fan before this buggy)
It may just get parted out at this point, I didnt get past page 2 of manual..pretty disgusted with the quality.
