Go Engine GXII-5RHO 5+2 Port .21 Buggy Engine Combo w/EFRA 2072 Pipe (Turbo Plug)
This is the Go Technology GXII-5RHO 5+2 Port .21 Competition Buggy Engine Combo, with an included 2072 tuned pipe. The GXII-5RHO is the next step in the evolution of the Gen 5.5 GX Series engines, and is the most advanced race engine ever produced by the GO Engine factory. The GXII-5RHO produces bottom end power similar to the GX-5R, with mid range and top end power similar to the GX-7R and MG66 engines. These characteristics have been blended together for an overall increase in power, providing a linear throttle curve that produces usable power whenever you grab the throttle, but remains driveable at any point in the RPM range.
The "Gen 6" 3-needle carburetor provides easy and stable tuning characteristics with a strong idle and helps to improve the efficiency when compared to previous GO Engine offerings, while the included venturi's will allow you to tailor the engines power delivery to suit a variety of track conditions. The engine is also lighter than previous GO engines and weighs in 34 grams lighter than the GX series, lowering the center of gravity and improving stability and handling.
The included EFRA 2072 tuned pipe features a long header and large volume chamber that provides excellent power over the entire RPM range. On track testing of the 2072 has shown significant performance increases over other OEM pipes and is an ideal match for any GO Tech engine. The 2072 also features a very sturdy stinger assembly and includes all hardware and seals.
