Futaba GYD550 Drift Car Gyro

I’ve got a 7PXR and want to get rid of the crap RTR radio system that came in my UDR, but I haven’t due to the stock stability control that I use when driving the truck on big dirt lots where it is by far the most fun. I just set it high enough to help limit the number of complete spin outs while drifting around corners. Can this unit be set up the same way? I would assume it’s far better than the RTR stuff I’m trying to replace.

The gyro works great, small learning curve. Would definitely buy it again!

It works and it works well. Once you learn how to dial it into your style of driving you will appreciate all it can do.

A must have if you already have a Futaba radio. I strongly recommend getting the 7PXR or 10px to get the full advantage in tuning when getting into RC RWD DRIFT.

I love this gyro so much, that I bought an additional 3 for my other kits. If you own a Futaba 7px/10px radio, this is the best gyro for you. The gyro itself is small, lightweight and offers a number of setting to tune it to your liking. It's truly a game changer but will require a little tweaking to fit your driving style. Despite the fact that the manual says that it is only compatible with Futaba I've used it with other brands with no issues.

Patience learn what it’s capable of and set it up correctly pricey but well worth it for futaba users pair it with right servo and rx hnds down one of the best drift setups available there are a few good vids on tube about how to set it ip correctly

Don't yet fully understand it, but it works very well. Very pleased!
