i bought this for my 3 year old son i thought cheap and good to learn on its been a great radio simple straight forward, may not have the bells and whistles you'ld want for racing but its more than capable of putting a smile on his face and to me that far exceeds the price of what i paid .......worth every penny

I bought it elsewhere, but it makes no difference. It has accurate response and is free of interference regardless of the number of people who use radios in vicinity. Conclusion: low budget, light and convenient transmitter with reliable and easy-to-use controls.

Some people may not like the 3PRKA.... The hardcore Guys.
That's OK, this isn't for them. I HOPE that Futaba keeps this in their lineup, or even an upgraded version, for a long time! (Still keeping the cost down!)
What's to like? It's got great range, and doesn't pick up any interference, even in a large group. Solid, reliable, glitch free, and simple! It's not completely stripped down though. The Third Channel is a simple ON-OFF. It could be used for lights, sounds - or with one of the HeyOK Switch Kits, can power a Winch, some animation or whatever!
Unlike some comparable Radios (NOT Korean knockoffs!), it's got D/R adjustments. It's a Servo saving feature, if used properly. It Binds EASILY. I run 3 vehicles on it, I just quickly Bind one, and I'm off! I look at it like the modern version of the classic Futaba Attack. Simple, rugged, well made.
It doesn't have all of the sophisticated adjustments that the upscale models have, but if you want a BETTER than base model Radio, a QUALITY, affordable 3-Channel Radio, this is for you!

I have two of these. I use one for VRC and the other one my son uses for on-road racing. They both work great and his has held up to the abuse of kid use!

Nice radio- BUT beware there is no EPA for the steering. I replaced the radio/esc in my son's EXC Amp truck with this radio. Even with the
dual rate dialed up, it still lost a ton of steering. If I trim the steering all the way right, it turns right great and vice versa- just not the opposite
direction.
