Furitek Torpedo 118 Brushless Combo for Traxxas TRX-4M
The Furitek Torpedo for the TRX4m is MUCH smaller than I anticipated (MOTOR AND ESC). You'll see that that when you get it in your hands. BUT, it delivers on power and control! It woke the TRX4m up big time! Really made it fun again. It almost compensates for the binding the TRX4m does when steering too, as in you basically don't notice the binding anymore. My rig binds badly, not sure about other's rigs. It's now a true mini version of my TRX-4 Defender (1/10), which has the Hobbywing Fusion Pro (2300KV). Now, both rigs have excellent low end speed control and much higher speed than stock. I'm using the stock gearing (axle and tranny) and it crawls probably slower and better than the stock ESC with Crawler Gears in the Tranny. As in, I don't even need to install gears. I might install some just to try it, like some Injora 9% lower diff gears possibly, but that's about it. I like the increased wheel spin. In fact, it will pull wheelies now and is probably twice as fast as stock, and it will jump now, and pop up and over things like solid axle rigs do. It's super cool now. And, I haven't even used the Bluetooth Furicar App yet...No need to yet. If you're thinking about it, do it. It takes the TRX4m from anemic to a little powerhouse, but still the stock battery last a LONG time.

Furitek Torpedo 118 Brushless Combo for Traxxas TRX-4M
I was on the fence about going brushless but I’m glad I did. It’s better than I thought it would be. Tons of wheel speed AND awesome slow crawl, and the ability to adjust all the different parameters is a huge bonus.
