This is the Furitek Lizard Ultimate 40A Brushed/Brushless Waterproof ESC. This updated and improved Lizard brings huge performance to small scale rock crawlers. Boasting a 40 amp continuous rating, 3 amp adjustable BEC, up to 3S LiPo support and of course wireless programming capability it is no wonder why they call this the Lizard "Ultimate". This ESC supports both brushed and brushless motors and uses FOC technology to give you buttery smooth performance on the trail. Furitek Lizard Ultimate 40A Brushed/Brushless Waterproof ESC
I have three Furitek ESCs. Including this one. I personally like this one the most. I have NO issues with mine running brushed or brushless.
I had a standard lizard V1 that I pulled the power wire off the PCB on accident. Furitek replaced the whole unit!
I have a Tegu V1 as well. Its never given me any issue with a surpass 2204.
And this pro I have in a FCX24 Max smasher with the godzilla motor and it FLYS! You also get turbo and BOOST settings with this ESC!
No issues here at all! Excellent support from Furitek! At least thats my personal experience with them over the past couple years.

Furitek Lizard Ultimate 40A Brushed/Brushless Waterproof ESC
Really pricey unit to have problems right out of the box. Can’t get the esc to work correctly with brushed motor. I am a comfortable and experienced hobbyist when it comes to electronics and this has been nothing but a headache trying to work out the glitches when running brushed motor. The app is hit & miss, not very user friendly. Definitely overpaying for brand name. Pretty disappointed Furitek couldn’t make the Lizard Ultimate work as good as it looks…

Furitek Lizard Ultimate 40A Brushed/Brushless Waterproof ESC
I have a few of these Lizard Ultimate escs and they’re great. In a nice compact aluminum case and has built in bluetooth. They can operate both brushed and brushless motors but I have to say you get better control with a brushless motor. I have them paired with Furitek and MoFo brushless motors.

Fantastic esc! You get so much with this little guy it’s amazing! Fits the grasshopper frame perfectly. This esc modulation is outstanding and the built in Bluetooth for tuning capability with the Furitek app works great. I highly recommend this for your crawler.
