This is a slightly upgraded version of the FMS Sky Trainer V2. The primary change from the previous model is a new shock absorbing nose gear which is more resilient after hard or off-balance landings. This plane is a favorite because of the awesome scale flaps, bright LED navigation lights, and overall level of detail. In addition, we absolutely love flying this plane when relaxing, scale flight is needed. While the plane offers excellent scale characteristics, it is still capable of non-scale maneuvers such as rolls, loops, and inverted flight. Scale landings and takeoffs look fantastic and are equally enjoyable for the pilot and onlookers. We think everyone should have a Sky Trainer in their hangar. We return to this plane again and again even though we have a huge selection of planes to fly.

I own one and am about to buy a second one as a spare. This plane is well built, beautiful and flys as good as it looks. Since foam planes have a light wing loading I installed a Spektrum AR647T Receiver that has built in AS3X and SAFE stabilization so I can fly it in breezy conditions where my normal foamies would bounce around too much. With this plane there is never any indication of tip stalls or any other unwanted attributes and I can fly it pretty slow with full flaps.
If you have a hard surface then takeoffs and landings will be great and nothing needs to be done with the plane. But on grass she bogs down because the wheels are too small so I got rid of all three wheel covers, installed 2-14 inch light wheels for the main gear, removed the nose gear (easy) and formed a new one of the same length but a larger bend to take a 2" wheel and reinstalled. Now she flies off grass and hard surface with ease an still looks classy.
The built in dual Landing light is one of the brightest I've seen along with its navigation lights too. I really love this plane.

I’m new to RC flying bought this plane after watching a few YouTube videos on it. I must say I’m impressed. Flying it is easy, most times I can fly very well with half throttle if just flying around. Was able to do loops and barrel rolls. Scale look is amazing. Over all great looking plane that flys as good as it looks.

OH BOY ,THIS ONE is a beautiful and I really can’t wait to get her. Up in the air! (Weather in Indiana) . The cockpit really puts this airplane one of my favorites. Unit isn’t very difficult to finish up!
I ONLY HAVE TWO COMPLAINTS. The first is the plastic tires for the landing gear (make’s a landing noisy) my plane was to come with floats and it was to be a bind and fly set up but I didn’t get anything except the airplane! SWEET PLANE AT A GREAT PRICE but I didn’t get what I ordered AND CANT GET IT IN TO FIX THE PROBLEM BECAUSE I KEEP GETTING EMAIL PROBLEMS!!! UNFORTUNATELY MY Beautiful airplane CRASHED ON ITS MAIDEN!?? now I’m waiting on parts to get made so I can buy repair IT and TRY IT AGAIN. I thought this was to be an easy flyer???? ?

The product arrived in a timely manner. The box arrived a little deformed, the stabilizer was marked by the propeller, sure they supported him something heavy above that the stabilizer became marked.
