This is the FMS P-51B Mustang Warbird Plug-N-Play 1450mm Electric Airplane. During WWII, the P-51D was the first truly capable fighter plane available to the Allied Forces. Its long range flight ability allowed it to play the role of bomber escort, while its dog fighting performance was equal to or better than anything the Luftwaffe pilots had in their arsenal. While often overshadowed by the P-51D, the "Razorback" P-51B Mustangs remained in service and feared by its enemies until the end of the war.

Many companies offer a P-51 to satisfy warbird enthusiasts. But, FMS is the first company to offer a P-51B version made from EPO foam. The FMS 1450mm wingspan P-51B Mustang captures the look and feel of this game changing WWII fighter. With it’s a true to form scale outline, it is practically indistinguishable from the real thing. Every detail has been pushed to the limits with features like full function flaps, and electric retracts. Plus, the historically accurate "Dallas Darling"  and "Shangri-La" trim scheme's make it a flight line head turner. You can push the scale realism even further by hanging the included drop tanks from the wings, or applying the maintenance markings.
