The FMS BAE Hawk 80mm PNP EDF Jet takes its styling from the British Red Arrows, officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team. In 1979 the Royal Air Force began using the now iconic BAE Hawk Trainer. FMS has done a great job in accurately recreating this classic British jet. Equipped with scale CNC-machined shock absorbing landing gear, detailed panel lines, scale pilot figure, removable fuel tank, retracts, flaps and extremely bright LED lights. FMS did not stop at scale appearance, a 12-blade EDF powered by a Predator 1930kV motor with a 100A ESC is used to give this jet incredible power and performance. Either in scale pattern flight or advanced aerobatic maneuvers this jet is sure to be a thriller on the flying field.

FMS BAE Hawk 80mm PNP EDF Jet Airplane (1042mm)
This is a great edf jet. I almost didn't give it 5 stars because it really need the upgraded landing gear from day one. Other than that it looks good (looks amazing with a coat of minwax WATERBASED polycrylic) it flys great and flys at a decent speed, but it is not a bullet and there are definitely faster EDF Jets out there. It'S WOT speed is not Necessarily a bad thing and helps keep things under control. The BAE Hawk settles in nice for nice landings.
The stock electrics have held up well do far and work as they should.
JETS ARE NOT FOR BEGINNERS. I Would buy another at the current price, but would definitely order the upgraded landing gear at the same time.

Blue sky's!
