Flite Test Simple Stick "Maker Foam" Electric Airplane Kit (1067 mm)
When I first received this kit, I did an inventory. Right off the bat, the hardware package was missing.
The only things that were in the kit were the foamboard laser-cut "Maker Foam" sheets and the spec sheet.
No control horns, firewall, push rods, landing gear rod, or any hardware.
Also, I went to the Flight Test web site and was unable to locate the "FT Simple Stik Build Video" or the
downloadable plans.

I have sent 3 emails to Flight Test showing the shortages in the FT Simple Stik kit. They have not responded
and it has been over a week since my first email.

I have built 10 Flight Test designs, 3 from kits purchased from them, and 7 built from their downloadable
full plans, and tiled plans sheets.

Flite Test Simple Stick "Maker Foam" Electric Airplane Kit (1067 mm)
I picked up a Simple Stick Kit from my local hobby shop, built it over two nights, and just got the first two flights done. This plane is fantastic! I found the build to be easier than the previous two simple planes, the Cub and the Scout, which I have also enjoyed. She’s setup with the B power pack and a 6 ch Spektrum receiver, and powered by a Smart 3s 1300 30C Spektrum battery. Rolling harriers and prop-hanging are no problem on a 3s. But she also flies almost as tame as the Scout I love so much. And I’d like to make an update to a different review I made. I reviewed the EZ3 First Flyers recently and complained about the Maker foam not being water resistant. After more testing, I’ve concluded it is water “resistant”, but not waterproof. The paper protects the surface of the plane, you just need to trace all the bare foam edges with hot glue, and she’ll be plenty water tight! This also keeps the paper from peeling up, which I also complained about. So, go build a Stick if you have at least one other plane under your belt. You’ll have a blast!
