Flite Test Simple Soarer Speed Build "Maker Foam" Electric Airplane Kit
The glider goes together very nicely and looks amazing - before it’s used. After about 2 or 3 hours of tossing it up and down wind with a light constant breeze of about 2-4 mph, the wing started to wrinkle a bit and the nose got stained from the grass, which is to be expected. But the largest problem is that if on a landing the wingtip touches before the fuselage, the plane will spin around an land roughly, and often bent up the wingtips. Sometimes it’ll even transition from a nice graceful landing to a cartwheel, bashing the wings. Eventually, because the rear end of the fuselage is so long and thin, the whole tail snapped off and had to be attracted back on. It would be unfair to leave out that this was the very worst of it, and there were PLENTY of perfect, smooth landings. Overall I like the glider and will buy more, but will reinforce lots of things before I take it out.
