Flite Test Simple Soarer Speed Build Electric Airplane Kit (1460mm)
This plane is amazing. People underestimate how much fun you can have with a glider. My favorite part of it is the long flight time just off of an 800 mah 3s. I was throwing it off a not so steep hill and it would fly farther than you might expect. When you have a motor on it, you need very little power to keep it in the air resulting in 20+ mins flight time. I love this airplane!!! You must try it.

Flite Test Simple Soarer Speed Build Electric Airplane Kit (1460mm)
I bought this when it went on sale. I find building kits like the Scout and Duster to be therapeutic with simple steps and easy fit. Not so with this build! The fuselage is so narrow that the servos touch one another. The build video is EXTREMELY RUSHED, and very hard to follow. All that said, it flies beautifully on a 3S 450 and picks up any thermals there happen to be.

Flite Test Simple Soarer Speed Build Electric Airplane Kit (1460mm)
This is the worst plane flite test have made I think.
I begun with the plane powered by a emax 2213 motor from power pack B. When I took off it immediately flipped and slamed into the ground. I had 3 more flights with this plane each time having a bit of a hard landing and breaking a prop. (Note I did not apply any down thrust to my motor)
Then I decided to scrap the powered idea and turn it into a simple chuck glider that worked well but broke the tail off 3 times on fine landings and smashed up the nose a lot every time.
Would not recommend at all unless you want a weak and uncontrollable glider.
I prefer the explorer by a mile because it flies very nice and is a piece of cake to fly and land.
