This is an optional Flite Test Float Set for the FT Simple Cub! Convert your Simple Cub over and enjoy flying over your nearest lake, pond, or appropriately sized body of water! This conversion includes everything needed to assemble the floats and install them onto your FT Simple Cub.
NOTE: Package includes floats only.
- White color is much easier to add a simple trim scheme using stickers or pinstripes
- Translucent allowing models to be creatively lit from within
- Takes paint or decals extremely well
- More durable than previous Flite Test foam products

Flite Test Simple Cub "Maker Foam" Float Set
These floats did not hold up well in the water. The outer skin of the foam became soggy after just a few flights, and de-laminated from the foam. Since my tape/glue was attached to the outer skin, it took a lot of repair (peeling off all the paper and reinforcing) to make them water-ready again. The design of the floats is great though, they are a blast to fly! Just need better raw materials to start with.
