The Flite Test Power Pack B "Radial Edition" contains everything needed to power the Small Fixed Winged Planes such as the Flyer, Delta, Nutball, FT22, Old Fogey, Old Speedster and most other airframes that weigh between 1-2 lbs. The only other components you will need to fly is a battery, charger, transmitter, and receiver. The included Radial motor and ESC comes pre-soldered with 3.5mm Bullets and XT60 Connector.

Tech Note: Depending on your propeller choice, some propellers may require a prop reamer to enlarge the hub size to fit over the motor shaft. Prop reamers can be found here, and offer a variety of "sizes" to ensure you have the proper hole size for your motor shaft.

Pack Includes:
  • (1) Motor - Radial 2212-1050kV
  • (1) Flite Test 35A ESC w/XT-60 connector
  • (4) Flite Test ES08AII 9g Servos
  • (1) Y-Lead
  • (4) Extensions - 20 cm
  • (4) Linkage Stoppers
  • (2) Propellers (9x4.5)
  • (1) 2mm Allen Wrench
  • (1) Phillips Screwdriver

Flite Test Power Pack B "Radial Edition"
I would not buy this kit again. The BEC built into the ESC would brown out when attempting to use all four servos in the Simple Cub, I had trouble figuring out the issue, because the receiver would continually reboot. Luckily I had great support from my local RC club to troubleshoot the issue. Also the props I received did not fit the supplied motor, Again luckily I had friends that informed me I need a prop reamer to fit the prop to the motor, something not supplied in the kit or even on the Flight Test store, and also not mentioned in the build instructions or videos.

Flite Test Power Pack B "Radial Edition"
Flite Test, you let me down on this. First of all, there is only one screwdriver in this kit. Not two, like the picture shows. And the prop shaft size, really? I thought these Power Packs were supposed to have all the electronics you need that are all COMPATIBLE. Clearly, the prop hole is too small and not meant for the Radial motor shaft. Real bummer too, since this is the third plane I'm building from Flite Test (Simple Scout), yet the first one with a Radial motor. I was excited about these new motors but to realize that this new power pack ships them with the wrong propellers? Not ok. And I know now that my kit wasn't an anomaly since I now know that the majority of these existing reviews legitimize my frustration.
Anyway, it's a cool electronics kit but c'mon, FT! Putting on the prop is the last thing you do when building a plane. I was having a relatively successful build and then WHAM, the prop size comes in and dampens my euphoria of finishing a build! This needs to be fixed.

Flite Test Power Pack B "Radial Edition"
This motor is a quad motor. you have to get special props to fit or buy a reamer due to shaft size . It will NOT accept regular Props, Nor a prop saver ether??. Save your money get a regular aircraft motor for Ft planes such as EMAX CF2822 1200kV Brushless Motor You will be miles ahead. Shame On You {Flight Test}
