The Flite Test Mustang is a four channel warbird trainer that will help you discover the flight characteristics of a warbird. However we wanted to eliminate the scale stall tendencies that warbirds often have. The wing mounted landing gear will enable you to learn landing tail-dragger techniques and perfect the classic “touch and go” on a calm evening. Although fast and nimble, this pony will slow down to a stall and not drop a wing tip. Our hope with this design is that it will give you the security to push the limits, fly a little lower, and discover the joys that a great scale warbird can provide.

Flite Test Mustang Speed Build Electric Airplane Kit (1016mm)
Great flying aircraft. Here's some hints. Needs a 4s battery for more power when using the "C" pack. The wooden control horns don't leave enough ED when piloted holes are opened up so I bought nylon horns. Had to fab a tail wheel. Needs set up with more throw on the flight controllers than the gauge that's provided. Upgraded the landing gear wire to thicker and used rubber tires. Used popsicle stick across elevator to tie the two sides together. Fun aircraft. Easy build. Love to fly it.

Flite Test Mustang Speed Build Electric Airplane Kit (1016mm)
Awesome plane all-round. Being on of the older designs, it shows its age, but still holds its place as an absolute beast. It has speed and roll, with excellent inverted flying. It does like to drop altitude in steep bank turns, but it is light enough to easily regain the lost altitude. Rocks as a good 3rd or 4th plane!
