The Flite Test Guinea Pig is the perfect platform to carry out the craziest experiments in the air. While it can carry a hefty payload, which can be dropped out the rear hatch, it can also be set up to carry out extreme aerobatic maneuvers. Use differential thrust to perform amazing 3d maneuvers such as harriers and knife edge. Tone down your controls and the Guinea behaves like a predictable trainer plane and is the perfect first time twin engined plane.

NOTE: Please review the build videos before removing any paper backing from the foam! Certain videos show white foam board, which is no longer produced. It has been replaced with water-resistant foam board which is brown in color.

Power Pack Compatibility:

Flite Test Guinea Pig Electric Airplane Kit (1473mm)
Fantastic! What a wonderful model to build and fly. It takes off in a few feet, flies as smooth as silk and is easy to land nice and slow. My model has differential thrust and it's worth the extra effort to do this as it makes for great aerobatics and easy ground handling.

Shipping to Australia was quick and it was well packed.

Keep up the GREAT work lads :)

Flite Test Guinea Pig Electric Airplane Kit (1473mm)
This plane is so much fun, easy to build just takes a lot space and two glue guns. It fly's beautifully just lumbers around but yet it can do a lot of maneuvers. I'm just starting to mess around with hauling cargo I reinforced the cargo door with a paint stick and I use two servos one to open/close the door and one to lock it closed. my linkage has a slide stop action so i can just leave the lock engaged and open the other servo then just throw the switch and the door dumps open, then retract it with the other servo and lock it. I made pods that attach to the door to hold my cargo to be dumped so it's not flopping around inside the plane messing with the CG. So many ideas and so little time ugh!

Flite Test Guinea Pig Electric Airplane Kit (1473mm)
This was my first FT build, and I must say I'm very impressed. The build was simple yet engaging, the online resources are abundant, and it flies like it was born with wings. There are dozens of mods this frame can carry and you're really only limited by your wallet and imagination. It flies with purpose and shakes the wind like it's not even there. Takes offs are short and landings are a dream. Running 2212s and 10x4.7 it'll do almost anything you tell it. Inverted, knife edge, hover, touch-n-go loops, etc... it'll take it all and do it with a load in the bay. Best part about this bird is she flies like the pilot is an expert even when they're not!

Flite Test Guinea Pig Electric Airplane Kit (1473mm)
this is the best plane I have ever built and flown it is not the most acrobatic plane but it can still execute more basic acrobatics. I have built three. My only complaints are that the cargo door is not automatic and that the front wheel is not steerable but it is an easy fix though still the best plane I own

Flite Test Guinea Pig Electric Airplane Kit (1473mm)
This plane is amazing. it's fun to build and to fly but the cockpit part of the nose is cut wrong, it came with a part of the cockpit sliced of. It's easy to repair but still something to look out for.

Flite Test Guinea Pig Electric Airplane Kit (1473mm)
This Plane is amazing!!! It flies really smoothly even in some wind. I would not recommend this plane for beginners. Build process was really fun! 5 stars. Super exciting! Flite test is the best!

Flite Test Guinea Pig Electric Airplane Kit (1473mm)
Flew this for the first time today. What a great flier! I kinda had my doubts about how this would perform but it is rock solid in the air. I used the power pack C and two 2200mah 3cell 30c lipos in parallel for power. I felt it had plenty of power but I am not lifting any payloads yet. It is up with differential thrust and it is a must for ground handling unless you modify yours with a stearable nose wheel. I would have to say I am impressed with my experience with this plane.

Flite Test Guinea Pig Electric Airplane Kit (1473mm)
It was an amazing build I have not gotten the opportunity to fly it yet, but this is not a trainer plane which is something I failed to recognize I also highly recommend getting the crafty kit mainly because of the hot glue gun because the wing spar is very long and can cause parts to bond and other parts to not bond as well as pay close attention to the tail because if you're not careful it can warp. overall it was an amazing experience. (please ignore grammatical errors I'm very sorry about them if there are any)

Flite Test Guinea Pig Electric Airplane Kit (1473mm)
The good parts:
- fun to build
- the online instructions are awesome
- the included equipment (when ordering the package) is perfect
- the pieces are very precisely cut and fit together well
- there’s a lot of customization you can easily do for the plane
- the nose provides a great crash cushion and is replaceable

The not so good
- it flies like a guinea pig with wings; even the differential thrust doesn’t dgive it a lot of maneuverability
- it looks like a guinea pig with wings; even a nice paint job doesn’t camouflage the ungainly shape
- it’s not exactly overpowered - i need to stay at 75% throttle to maintain reasonable control (using 3200 3s)
- the landing gear is small and the nose wheel wire and fuselage connection is too weak
- the mountings for the external vertical stabilizers are too weak - they need to be reinforced

Note - I wrapped the entire plane in very lightweight fiberglass to give it additional strength; I don’t think it added much weight but that might have affected its flying characteristics. I’m an intermediate but no more than that flyer so others may have more gentle landings.

Overall - a fun project and good way to get into differential power twins. I’m glad I built it. It won’t be my prized plane that I show off to my friends though!

Flite Test Guinea Pig Electric Airplane Kit (1473mm)
Très déçu par ce kit ! Beaucoup trop fragile et construction du capot avant difficile voire ubesque ! Cet avion ne peut pas durer dans le temps ! Le concept de vos constructions est alléchant mais la réalisation donne un fini très approximatif
