The Flite Test A-10 Warthog is one of the largest and most complete Flite Test kits available. This kit includes all of the lasers cut components, including the firewalls, hardware, pushrods, duct formers, landing gear, and wheels. With a wingspan of over 60 inches, this plane really carries itself well through the sky!
Although this aircraft is big, it is not a complicated build. It is cut out of eleven sheets of foam that fold and bend to creating an extremely rewarding build process. Producing this kit is a labor of love with almost an hour and a half of laser cutting time.
This aircraft has great flight characteristics in the wind and calm weather alike. When you put a 4 cell battery on this aircraft it is fully aerobatic and you get the perfect pairing of speed and efficiency. The flight characteristics of this A-10 are like none other on the market at this size. It performs like a real A-10 with vertical lines and incredible performance at both high and low speeds, and with the included landing gear set, you can easily land and take off of short grass.
The FT Warthog is a direct result of the Giant A-10 vs Tank episode! With such an incredible response to that project and particularly the aircraft build, Flite Test wanted to make it accessible while still maintaining a substantial size and presence in the air. Although this is a smaller version of the giant A-10 featured in the video, it is definitely an advanced build, but once it is completed you will find that it has some trainer like tendencies.

Flite Test A-10 Warthog Electric Airplane Kit (1537mm)
Bought this kit at a local hobby store. Since there is no parts list included I did not realize that my kit was packaged with a right wing panel, 2 left wing panels and NO center wing panel until after I started building the kit. You can't build a plane when 1/3 of the wing is missing. Sent an e-mail to customer service and no response yet. I called customer service and was told I had to go through the store to fix the problem if I wanted it resolved within the next month because there are no parts on hand. The hobby store should not be responsible to fix an issue created by Flite Test

This plane is great, Maiden went easy and had a great landing.
I used flaperons for the landing and it just makes the approach so much slower and smoother. I started this project in January and had to wait 5months for the plywood flite test sent to arrive (borders shut covid-19) but in the end I completed it.
Running off a 4s 2200mah battery this just flies so easy with a 4min 30s flight time and can do whatever you want it too. 10/10 would recommend if you are a intermediate pilot for a great model to build and fly.

HI i do watch your videos but something came to mind to ask if you guys can do a video on making a big foam F-4-E Phantom with a Airsoft gun and have a dogfight battle with the A-10 Warthog and one more thing how much would it be to put everything in the A-10 WARTHOG for people to buy.

Hey Josh and fellas, me and my sons have been watching yall vids and learned a lot from the vids. we wanna thank you guys for helping the less fortunate, and building the hobby in such a unique way that almost anyone can do it. although some items are still just out of reach but we will get there eventually. still, big ups for the time and effort you guys put into these plans and the build videos.
