The Flite Test Duster is a fun-scale crop duster that excels in fast pace pattern style flying. It's wide speed envelope makes it a good introductory to 4 channel flying. Full length ailerons maneuvers such as rolls, loops and even knife edge a breeze.

Flite Test Duster Speed Build Electric Airplane Kit (750mm)
I just had the maiden flight. I had struggled with the paper wheels and landing gear all build. After loosing a wheel on take-off, I glided it back to earth with no real problems. On the second launch, however, I couldn’t get it trimmed, so I lost control of it and it crashed, ripping the wings off. It went well together as a build, though I had servos come loose mid-build. The biggest weakness is where the leading edge of the wing attaches to the fuselage. That part is so weak, that it ripped as I slid in the wing. Re-design the wing riots, please!
Update: I moved on to a Bloody Baron and got the hang of 4 channel flying. It’s NOT a good first 4 channel: get a Simple Scout. Now, I can appreciate the full length ailerons, snappy rolls, strong performance in medium wind and overall playfulness. It has quickly risen to the top of my FT planes and I love flying it!
