The Flite Test Crafty Kit is a concept we have been thinking about for quite a while now! At Flite Test we have built many, many foam board airplanes and we have become fairly particular on what kinds of tools we use to put these designs together.
The Crafty Kit is NOT just the cheapest materials we could find that would get the job done. They are the exact tools that we have around the shop that help us work efficiently and effectively. We also wanted to utilize every aspect of the Crafty Kit, including the box. The box that this kit is shipped in unfolds to create a workspace that is screen printed with a measurement grid and an info graphic that defines a lot of the basic information regarding the hobby.

Be sure to read the details on this one. Pictures an 18" rule, but delivers a 12".

Flite Test Crafty Kit
Servo Tester is crap. If you connect servo wrong or battery wrong, the servo is toast.
Voltage Alarm does not work.
Ad Tech Pro 200 is excellent.
FT Hot Glue Sticks are OK, but over priced.
Razor Blade Knifes are OK, but over priced.
Packing Tape is OK, but over priced.
12" Ruler (Standard & Metric) is OK.
Screwdriver is OK.
Flite Test Sticker Pack is ok.
Most all of the above can be purchased at Home Depot for quite a bit less.

Flite Test Crafty Kit
This is a nice collection of useful tools for building foam board projects. You could certainly buy all the items separately, but this saves you the hassle and it comes in a nifty, re-usable cardboard package that doubles as you cutting board.
My dissatisfaction stems from the hot glue gun included... pictured in, and named in the description is an AdTech Pro 200, what was included is the flite test branded gun. It's $11 less expensive than the Adtech and it's clearly a re-branded no-name glue gun. It doesn't work as well and it's misleading to show a nicer gun and include a cheaper, crappier one. I have emailed customer service regarding this and 6 days in, no reply. Disappointing customer service amain.

Flite Test Crafty Kit
Was not going to buy this item at first but after building the model I was glad that I did.This kit made the whole job easier.The servo tester and battery checker where two items I did not have. What can you say about the glue gun the flow and heat level of the glue was spot on. The supplied ruler backed with cork is awesome leaves no marks. If you are new to this type of model building like I was this kit is well worth the splash of cash. Everything in the kit was used in the build at one point so no unnecessary items that you will not use. Thank you Flite test for a great build and much fun was had in the process.

I didn't buy it yet but why is it so expensive?I don't have much money so I would not be able to buy this please make it cheaper.
