Say hello to Peter's 3rd Flite Test design, the FT Bushwacker! This rugged little plane is based off of multiple popular full scale bush planes such as the Highlander! The FT Bushwacker is an aerobatic super short take off/landing aircraft. For extreme 3D aerobatic performance, use the large control surfaces. For extreme super STOL performance, split each aileron in half to create flaps. This plane is designed for intermediate to advanced pilots and is capable of most aerobatic maneuvers with the Power Pack C.

Power Pack Compatibility:
Flite Test Airplanes are all designed around the use of various "Power Packs" which include an inexpensive Motor, ESC, Servo, & accessory package to complete each aircraft!

Flite Test Bushwacker Electric Airplane Kit (1143mm)
Oh! My! Gosh! This plane is the epitome of fun! The build was not bad, mine arrived with a little damage to the wing panel but it was on the inside and didn't look like it would effect strength or flight characteristics so i just threw it together. It fly's great it does anything you can think of acrobatically I did tricks I wouldn't dare do with my other planes just really comfortable to fly, very natural. I had to reinforce my wing where the rubber bands go because the trailing edge buckled and raised the rear of the wing causing the angle of incidence to go negative and made my maiden flight very interesting but when I got back home I glued a couple pieces of paint stick across from the trailing edge to the closest bend and took it back out and that did the trick. stalls are really mild actually put mine into a stall and kept pumping the elevator and kept it in a level stall all the way to the ground and folded the landing gear OOPS! lol but easy fix now I'm just waiting for the paint to dry great job guy's.

Flite Test Bushwacker Electric Airplane Kit (1143mm)
This is my favorite FT airplane yet!! A super fast and easy build, and extremely aerobatic - It's basically a slow-flying version of the edge 540. I LOVE IT!!! In their video, they classified it as a strong intermediate flyer, and while that's true for performance, I think even beginners will find this plane easy to get in the air as well. Once again, another score for Flite Test. Great Job!

Flite Test Bushwacker Electric Airplane Kit (1143mm)
Wow! What a performer! I watched Josh Fly this through the park. Had to try it myself. Added some skewers to the control rods, tail and wings. It balances well with an 1800 3s way up in the nose. Maidened it with flaperons. It can roll like an Edge 540, climb vertically and just about knife edge. On top of that, it landed on high grass with no issues, and took right off again. The wing buckled a bit under the rubber band load, which is why I glued two popsicle sticks to the back of the wing. Now it’s ready to do more 3D! A stable, slow flyer on low rates, a spectacular performer on high rates. Easy build, well-powered with Power Pack C radial Edition.

Flite Test Bushwacker Electric Airplane Kit (1143mm)
Breif summary of my flight exp.
- Experience approximately 1 year, mainly gyro stabilized helis, and quads.

- I have never successfully landed an airplane at anytime in my aeronautical adventures, have landed helis, and quads but thats simple.

I just recently started scratch builds this past 2018/2019 winter, (figured since I am the definition of "awful airplane pilot") it is substantially cheaper, however more labor intensive. I cant afford to constantly buy expensive airplane parts, so scratch builds were a no brainer.
This is my 4th FT build, all but 2 I was able to fly, the Mig 3 and this bushwacker were a breeze to get up. Landing is not my strong suit, plain and simple I guarantee I a thr worst of the worst landers.

This bushwacker is PHENOMENAL!!! I had to dabble a bit, 2 crash landings and some relatively extensive repairs brought me to today. I heavily modified this plane, and suprisingly enough it still does its amazing aerobatics, but I had THREE 100% SUCCESSFUL FLIGHTS!!!!! SUPER STOKED!!!! Not even a hesitation whatsoever, I was able to land this rig. I kid not it basically lands itself.

Mods include, beefed up landing gear, balsa reinforced elevator, and power pod, did without flaps (caused too much multitasking for a noob), modded the wing and elevator design. If I could include a pic it would be great, maybe ill post on the fourm.

Anyway, I am not even a beginning pilot to say the best, but this is easily able to be a swiss army knife of airplanes.
Buy it!!!
P.s. i am using a 3842 1100kv w/12x6 prop. Shes a skookum choocher people.

Flite Test Bushwacker Electric Airplane Kit (1143mm)
This is my 2nd FT plane. The 1st was the Guinea Pig. I modified the Bushwacker tail skid to be a tail wheel (3/4”) which enables ground handling even in low wind. The tail wheel is mounted to the rudder. We have a paved runway. Luv doing touch n gos! With flaps the Bushwacker lands at near zero mph. It is fully aerobatic and flies > 10 mins on a 2200 3s pack. Weight with 3s pack on board is an amazing 1.4 lbs. The oversized foam board wheels are really cool! I sprayed them black with white sidewalls! Guys at the field luv it, too!

The FT planes, parts and service are SUPERB!

Thank you, FT!

Flite Test Bushwacker Electric Airplane Kit (1143mm)
First of all, this plane is amazing! I am almost 10 years old and I love this plane. Me and My dad crashed it, glue and some popsicle sticks good to fly again. Using power pack c and 2200 3s. This is my fourth FT plane, first the scout, then the corsair, then the sportster and now the bushwhacker. If you have flown any trainer you can fly this plane. On to the sea duck!

Flite Test Bushwacker Electric Airplane Kit (1143mm)
Bought the speed build kit and put my bushwacker together per the plans and video. Foam wheels, flaps, light and little reinforcement. I have flown the simple cub and the simple storch and loved both of those planes, but the bushwacker put the best of both those planes together in one plane. Small, light and maneuverable like the cub, but slow and floaty like the storch. Great plane and am looking to buy another as mine is almost crashed and rebuilt to the limit. It must weight almost twice as much with all the patches and glue and bbq skewers everywhere but it still flys.

I don't understand what the low price of € 39 represents at the start
How is the shipping cost in France estimated?

Flite Test Bushwacker Electric Airplane Kit (1143mm)
I have scratch built the bushwhacker and it seems good but the power pod is difficult to get into the right position so the holes line up to keep it in place.
Looks good and very lightweight so I need a calm day to fly.
