The Flite Test Bravo was designed to be a quick and challenging to fly build, this is the fastest and most agile plane of the Triad series. The FT Bravo is compatible with the FT Alpha and FT Charlie kits. Each airplanes’ wings are built to be removable from the fuselage, and can be swapped with any of the other Triad planes, giving the builder essentially 9 planes to choose from.

The swapping of wings takes less than a minute and is supported by rubber bands!

There is no need to re-calibrate the center of gravity on the aircraft after swapping, the CG remains the same no matter what combination you configure. This is great for the flight line and swapping with others, making it an enjoyable experience for all.

We want you to have an amazing experience both in building and flying. This kit comes with everything you need to complete the FT Bravo Aircraft. Push-rods, control horns, firewalls and all other items needed to make this airframe electronics ready are included in the kit. If you choose to purchase our power pack F and a battery, balance, flight performance and assembly will be quick and easy.

My favorite of the three is this wing with the Alpha body. My son is a beginner pilot. By buddy box, I could give him the controls of my Alpha and his Charlie and he could fly okay. He even landed on his own after the 2nd or third flight. He was able to save the plane when he made a mistake. The Alpha with Bravo wings was a little too fast for him to save the plane when he lost orientation or made a mistake. The bravo wings have a lot less lift but roll great and look even more like a jet.

After flying the Alpha FT model, I bought this one, mainly to use up another quad motor I had. Like my Alpha model, they do not need 9g servos but that was all I had on hand. The long servo arm was too much for good control so eventually the control rod ended up on the innermost hole of the servo arm. The 2205 2300Kv motor is more than the model needs but does give it unlimited vertical. But it also makes it hard to launch at more than half throttle. It's not as controllable as my Alpha model but still loads of fun to fly. Because they are small, don't get too far out. I'm using a 60A ESC on mine with a 5x4.5 prop and running on 1300 to 1500mAh packs and getting about 4 mins flight times in hard open throttle flying. Less throttle could easily go to 5 or 6 mins.

What a fast plane, so much fun. Just make sure that you use a 6" reverse prop as recommended in the build video. Unfortunately I have crashed the plain on maiden and need to rebuild the nose section. Will double the nose and add some carbon inside. Ensure to have a good painting as the silouette is very flat. We even FPV on this small airplane.
