This is a optional Fioroni Losi 8ight 2.0 4mm Hard Coated Chassis. This Fioroni chassis is made from 4mm thick ergal 7075 aluminum for durability, then CNC machined to reduce weight and create the ideal amount flex and finally hard anodized for long wear. Additionally, this chassis uses steel inserts at the droop screw tabs that allow for precise and consistent droop measurements and will prevent the droop screws from causing premature wear to the chassis.

Fioroni Losi 8ight 2.0 4mm Hard Coated Chassis
The FIO is stronger than the losi. And the chassis, "if i had to say", lasts about 20% longer. However, the chassis does flex less, and provide less traction. On most track, and bumpy tracks the losi chassis works better. I rebuild a 8ight about every week, and everytime I ran the FIO chassis, the car just seemed to wanted to stay flatter, regardless of what setup or chassis braces.
If your fighting for seconds on the track, buy the FIO. If your fighting for tenths or .5 seconds on the track consistantly, buy the losi.

Excellent chassis... Very well made and strong. A bit pricey but worth it.
