This is a Fioroni Lightweight Differential Case, intended for use in the front, center or rear position on the Hot Bodies D8 family of vehicles. Eliminate the risk of a blown differential due to a warped or worn out differential case! This two piece CNC machined 7075 Ergal differential case features carbon steel pins that capture the differential cross pins, providing a perfect fit between the gears for smooth and consistent differential operation. The Fioroni differential case has been finned to allow efficient heat dissipation and reduce weight. It also holds more oil than standard plastic differential cases, to help minimize thermal breakdown of the differential fluid for more consistent differential action during long runs.

I bought this for my RC8e and mine leaks as well. I don't recommend this thing. Complete waste of money.

Fioroni Hot Bodies D8/D8T Lightweight Differential Case
I bought this to use it as centerdiffcase. I have all the other light weight parts (spurgear, alu-diffaxels, outdrives + other modifications to further lighten the diff) this mods gave about 12grams(0,42oz) less weight, this case ads 10grams(0,35oz)... And thats in periphery weight!!!
It doesn't hold any more oil, in fact a little less.
Does the oil stay cooler?? I would think so, because most of the oil ended up in the chassis...
Maybe it works better to other brands, but to (HB) D8, donĀ“t buy this!
