The Exotek B6/B6D Flite Top Shaft is compatible with the B6 and B6D buggies. This Ultra light top shaft has been drilled and the teeth narrowed for increased acceleration and a cooler running motor. Weighing in at less than half the weight of the stock top shaft and slipper, when combined with the lightened spur mount (EXO1726 - not included), it weighs in at 9.5 grams complete with hardware and a 72T spur. The stock assembly is 20 grams! Use optional alloy hardware for even more weight savings. Machined from 7075 aluminum and hard anodized, these are recommended for stock racing use only.

Great product. I have none of the issues mentioned by previous reviews. Clean simple installation, and allows you to not have to cut a hole in your body for a dedicated 17.5 racer.

Exotek B6/B6D Flite Top Shaft
I bought 2, one for my turf car and one for my dirt car. Both got a bit quicker, enough to notice. Update- I was just changing out my gear case and in the new gear case the shaft has way too much end play. Had to put everything back in old case. Appears to me now that there is poor quality control on AE molds which can make this shaft not fit well. Not at all the fault of Exotek.

I tested it with the new parts which arrived from amain hobbys, but abnormal noise is terrible with the new idler gear. I point out a gear module difference.
There is no problem in the top shaft of MIP and AE.
kyosho RB6.6 ver exotek top shaft is no probrem. very sirence. It is possible for incorporating it definitely AE and more.
