This is an optional Exotek Aluminum Flite Motor Plate for the Hot Bodies D216 buggy. This motor plate is 100% CNC machined and features aggressive cut outs allowing the heat that builds up inside the gear cover to vent out. This process helps lower overall motor temps and maximize efficiency.
The extra machining also reduces the weight (and CG) down to 11.8gr while keeping the critical motor mounting areas still intact to maintain solid motor mounting and gear mesh. Additionally, there is an extra cut out on the bottom side to ensure debris is ejected for free running gears.
Laser etched, polished and anodized black.
