This is the optional EXOTEK Carbon Fiber B6.1/B6.1D LiPo Tabs and Cups Set. The finitely adjustable quick weight tuning battery hold system for the B6.1 T6.1 SC6.1 and B6, to adjust the battery quickly, forward or way back, with ease as track conditions call for it.
Features:
- Securely cradles the battery in place for added chassis flex compared to taping the battery to the chassis.
- Only 4.5gr vs the stock straps 9gr.
- Easy yet secure battery hold in and removal.

[update - also fits B6.3 & B6.4] Love this battery system. I have one on my B6.2 and T6.2. Makes battery install and removal much easier with no tools needed - no more lazy excuses to not store my batteries in the lipo safe before/after race days.

This design works but once I had it installed, I’m very unhappy with how it functions. Poor design, should have gone psm with the o rings or jconcepts instead… swapping batteries is a pain and it still requires a tool to get a good hold on the battery. Repeated use strips out the side rails battery hold posts on my B6… really negatively impacts how I see exotek as a brand.

Had to purchase locally at Spiral RC Shop here in Japan Have worked very well for us ( except 1 time when the battery slipped out, when my son had a super hard wall collision). Tabs could be longer in my opinion. We use pretty small / light 3800 mah shorties, so other than that 1 time it has worked great, it's light and looks trick in my opinion.

Exotek Carbon Fiber B6.1/B6.1D LiPo Tabs & Cups Set (Battery Brace)
I have used this Exotek system on a few cars now. You need to pay attention to the height of the battery and where the side braces and swing tabs line up. Use washsers to fine-tune the height of the parts. On my 21.5 car I use a slim shorty pack and I had to chop down the posts on the side rails for this to work properly. The other car uses a normal height battery and it was not a problem.
