The Exotek 22S Drag Slotted Lightweight Motor Plate is 100% CNC machined and vented with aggressive slot cuts to reduce weight and help lower the motor temps. The slots also help cool down the inner slipper parts by letting cooler air pass through. The extra machining brings the weight down to 14 grams (6 grams lighter than stock), but the critical motor mounting areas are still intact to minimize flex for solid motor mounting and gear mesh.

It's very nicely made, and the motor slots are longer than the stock plate to allow for more adjustments on the pinon gear. My only thing I would say I miss is it eliminates the ability to mount the gear cover, which isn't a deal breaker, but the ability to hide gearing can be an advantage to some.

Looks great on the car and is a bit lighter than the stock one. My problem with it is that they didn't include a top screw hole for the cover that goes over it along with the spur gear and pinion. They only included a bottom screw hole which I find to be a very odd choice.
