The Element Enduro Trailrunner 4x4 RTR is inspired by today's off road vehicles, with the most detailed and realistic body Element has produced to-date. The Trailrunner 4x4 body was designed for looks, function and customization featuring a two-piece design with removable front lower valance, injection-molded fender flares, B-pillar appliqués, door handles, windshield wipers, mirrors, and front grill installed right out of the box.
The looks don't stop there. Also included are injection-molded roof rack, three-piece front bumper with D-rings, snorkel, and accessory decal sheet so you can make this RTR unique without buying additional accessories. So, whether the look you want is fresh off the lot, weekend warrior, or full-blown off-road trail rig, the choice is yours - and the parts are in the box!
With durability, performance, agility and scale looks in mind, the engineers at Area 51 Design Works came up with the Independent Front Suspension conversion kit. IFS provides maximum suspension articulation along with modern off-road vehicle suspension scale looks. Pre-assembled with the same quality and features, this trail truck comes equipped with IFS and is scale ready to tackle rough off-road terrain right out of the box.
The Enduro Trail Truck comes ready for adventure, with performance-driven Reedy Power electronics. The all-new, ultra-smooth and powerful, 16-turn 5-slot brushed crawler motor and Reedy Power SC400X electronic speed controller with T-plug connector, supply ample power to this tough rig. Controlling the beast on the trail is a 3-channel XP130 2.4GHz radio and Reedy Power high-torque 1320MG metal gear servo.
STEALTH® X GEARBOX WITH ADJUSTABLE OVERDRIVE GEARS
At the heart of the Enduro is our revolutionary Stealth® X gearbox. Although the exterior appears to have a conventional 3-gear transmission look, the inside is far from conventional. The Stealth® X features the ability to adjust the rear drive ratio independently from the front drive in 3 levels.
- Stock (with 27T and 53T gears, above) overdrives the front end 5.7%.
- Option 1 (with 28T and 52T gears, below left) provides a one-to-one drive ratio front to rear.
- Option 2 (with 26T and 54T gears, below right) overdrives the front end 11.83%.

The enduro trailrunner is an amazing product for the money! Very durable and surprisingly capable for it being ifs and 1.55 wheels. The other accessories like the bumper, snorkel and roof rack are nice and straightforward to assemble. Every thing with the other enduros like the sendero and trailwalker are capable like knuckles and shock mounts. They even include some parts to SAS it. All in all, good truck that is reliable and smooth crawling. The servo still works fine after several vigorous trail and crawl tests.

Fun truck. Things i learned so far, it is slower then a TRX4 sport with the smaller tires. It is vary capable out of the box. I switch the body out and put different shock springs on the front. That with lager tires (1.9) this thing is amazing. I have only tested it but it lightly but once i get it out on some trails i will be able to compare it to a TRX4. Highly recommend it for something new and different.

This is my first 1/10 crawler.. I installed the front bumper on my truck that is included along with the lights.. it's a cool rig.. I think it needs larger tires, it's very slow moving but seems to be quite capable... I do not like the way they attached the mirrors, rear bumper or any other accessories on the body... the little plastic like plugs fall off very easily

This truck is better than expected. It runs so smooth and works great on the rocks.The body is great. It comes with a lot of scale accessories. I'm a new fan of ELEMENT RC. Highly recommended.

Lot's of problems with the IFS steering which became very loose over time. Ordered all the replacement parts through Element RC. Screws stripped when attempting to drive them through the hard plastic during the last few turns. Wasn't worth the trouble or time, threw it out and bought and bought the brand my son uses and has never had trouble with.

I recently purchased this truck. When I got it the tires were much smaller than they look like on the box. I understand that it has 1.55 tires but they look a lot bigger on the box than the actual car.

Apparently other reviewers think this is a competition rig. IT IS NOT. There is no advantage to having an IFS, it in fact makes it perform worse.
I love this rig, an (almost) exact replica to to 1:1 weekend warrior. It is capable, but the fact that people are getting mad that it doesn’t perform like a 10.3 is just insane. It is meant to look and perform like a 1:1, and because of that, don’t expect it to crawl up 55 degree inclines. It is the only rtr out there with IFS
10/10 for aftermarket support, infinitely customizable due to the fact that knight customs has several 3D printable files available for a cheap price. My only issue is that they’re pricing 10$ more for a different color.

This is a very nice rig and well thought out. Only thing I would seriously think of upgrading is the tires (tires load up and don't like to clear out). Other than that it did good on it's first outing. Nothing broke and I ran it hard on a 3s pack.

I’m having so much fun with this truck. The styling is really great and the IFS makes it a unique climber. With some modifications it’s become a real strong crawler, very stable with a fairly low C of G but decent clearance on 1.9 wheels and tires. I would recommend this truck to anyone wanting to try this type of RC

Nice 4 wheeler! Great quality, lots of options. I bought this mainly for the IFS and I'm impressed with the build of that, great suspension travel and steering. Not too much run time yet, but that will change! Now I'd like to see a builder's kit with IFS, no wheels or tires, no body and no electronics...I'm waiting!...

So far, a week, I'm pretty happy! It's really well built, excellent hardware, awesome design. The body has great lines and proportions. I think with some minor tweeks this could be a competitive crawler. Different wheels and tires to start. I know I'm going to have so much fun tuning and driving this truck. My experience with amain hobbies has been amazingly headache free. I would recommend the truck and amain to anyone

This is my first vehicle from Element RC. The IFS works great and adds a new dimension to trail trucks. It's a really capable truck out of the box, even with the smaller tires.
The extra body options included in the box are great. I recommend using CA glue or your favorite adhesive in the plastic o-rings that hold all the body accessories on. They tend to work loose as the body flexes, I almost lost a mirror on my first trail run. Also the plastic bumper posts need to be trim before installation or they will interfere with the steering bell crank.

I want to say that I am probably not the intended user of this little truck. I bought this truck to use the IFS suspension in a project. I basically had plans to make this truck a U4 style rig with 2.2 wheels and tires while using the Element Gatekeeper rear-end. Unfortunately the IFS system has an immense amount of steering slop through all the linkages. When using large tires and wheels this effect was magnified x 10! The stock servo didn't last through the first outing. Even with a Reefs 555 servo the steering slop and lack of precision was unbearable. I have since turned this rig back into a "scale truck" that my daughter uses. With smaller wheels and tires it is OK, but not great. If scale realism is your thing, you'll love this truck. The body and accessories are very nice and the rest of the normal Element brand stuff works as intended. Just know that using it as a comp truck or dreaming of it having Axial Yeti front suspension performance is not what you'll get.
