Element RC Enduro IFS Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit
I picked this kit up to build a more Scale Realistic Toyota 4Runner, based on the SCX10 II Builders kit (I basically had all the spare parts laying around to build this out).

The Price point is fairly good, except if you're putting this on something other than an Element chassis.
I would love to see Element have separate kit SKU's, instead of a main kit and an additional adapter plates that work with this kit that must be purchased somewhere else.

Pros:
The kit, was well packaged, all parts and instructions were clearly laid out.

The kit works really well for an IFS without a sway bar.

Cons:
What is up with the turnbuckles? No hole, not hex shaped. If they were going for a low profile look, why aren't they black?

Speaking of the Swaybar - This is a con strictly for the Scale folks. Real scale IFS rigs will have swaybars, and disconnects for it.

Did I mention the adapter plate part? This just adds complexity in ordering, and waiting for additional parts to show up. Lets be honest, we all hate that.

The only thing I can say is.... Come on Element, we expect better! You've done a great job so far, and it would be such little effort to make this an amazing bit of kit. Please go the extra distance.

*Do not take any of my Cons as I wouldn't buy this again. I absolutely would in a second. I'm just nit picking to push it a bit farther and hope that Element makes this an amazing kit!

Element RC Enduro IFS Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit
Very nice setup. Kit went together easily as per the instructions. Installation took about one hour and we were on the road. I have not had any issues with parts of performance and I have driven this truck several times now over moderate terrain.

Element RC Enduro IFS Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit
Picked up my 2nd IFS kit,
first was on my Enduro Builders kit,
this is going on Gatekeeper.

gets the rig to sit nice and low
Works well if you want more of a high speed trail runner than a comp crawler.
not that I've had any problem in the big rocks.

Element RC Enduro IFS Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit
1st off definitely a great idea for unique builds??. Price point could be a bit more reasonable about $20-$25 less. Build/conversion went about 80-85% smooth I do not own the enduro kit so my review is for converting the scx10.2 far as quality of parts within the conversion kit goes looks good but not 100% sure yet because have not finished yet. Reason for this is because even with purchasing the separate part/parts that is needed to use with the axial kit as stated. I'm waiting on original scx10(1) front shock towers because with the panhard setup up front with the scx10.2 the extra area for the link interfere with completing the front suspension (at least 1 side).? There is also my gripe with the included turnbuckles in the conversion kit. Why are they completely round/smooth??? makes is a bit difficult to attach the rod ends unless you have needle nose vise grip tool to turn/hold while you screw on the rod ends. Also I understand that this was mainly intended for the enduro kit but I'm going to have to do a little finagle work to relocate my battery tray and possibly adjust my scx10.2 2 speed transmission (flip around or use a single speed transmission). So a few things not so good I suppose well at least if your converting your scx10.2. Hope this helps others ?

Element RC Enduro IFS Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit
I put this DIY IFS kit on my Element Gatekeeper. Besides the plastic pivot balls (should have came with metal instead), the parts seemed like great quality. The ground clearance is less, but that is to be expected vs. a strait axle. I like the element this added to my Gatekeeper...no pun intended. I do feel like the steering rack could be improved to allow for the differential to sit slightly higher on the chassis, and make the stance more even after install. Also, the very short round links were very hard to keep hold of while screwing on rod ends. That is why I gave this 4 stars. Even though I gave it 4 stars, I still highly recommend it. Once installed, it functions as designed and does look very good. Look up Trent Fabrication IFS if you want to see what the 1/1 scale looks like.

Element RC Enduro IFS Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit
Love this conversion IFS kit for the scx10. I’ve always wanted to do this conversion now I can and I love that I did and have a different experience in a trail truck just by the suspension being different. Great product and made very well.
