E-flite Ultra-Micro UMX MiG 15 DF Micro Ducted Fan Bind-N-Fly Jet
This plane is awesome! Broke so far: left wing, whole nose to the point where the canopy starts, bent tail aileron. All fixed with proper foam glue or reinforced with plastic foil. I'm amazed it still works! Can't even tell if my fixes affect flight performance since as3x still keeps everything in check. Might turn it off when I get the programming cable to see how my repairs really fly if I don't get spares first. Regarding flight it's neither the fastest nor the most agile (although it is still VERY agile) UMX, but the aerodynamics are amazing and it glides great with 0 throttle, though it often comes a bit too hot for the landings. The fact that it has no prop and the general design make this plane tremendously sturdy. The wind performance will amaze you and you'll be able to fly in very high winds! Where larger planes fail this beauty can land perfectly and undamaged thanks to the stabilization and small scale. I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner but it's probably the best plane to make the next step in flight skills. Yes I would recommend it to a friend. P.S. the guy that says he blew the engine talks BS. That engine is dug in so deep you'd have to hit a moving train to break it or shove a 3S battery in.
