E-flite Clipped Wing Cub BNF Basic Electric Airplane (1200mm)
Love the plane and flys good. DOES NOT like tall grass or bumpy areas for landing have to pull back full elevator. I am going to try and put bigger wheels on it. Likes hovering and doing aerobatics

E-flite Clipped Wing Cub BNF Basic Electric Airplane (1200mm)
I wish I could tell you good things about this plane. I can tell you that it looks great, and has a solid feel to it. But that's about all. I got this plane after i was having several issues with the Valiant right out of the box. So the guys at the store where I purchased it helped out with that and when it could not be fixed allowed me to exchange for the cub. Problem solved one would think, but no. The cub had a broken prop adapter right in the box, broken in 2 and held tiger by the tightening but. Again the people at the store did all they could for me, but did not have the right one in stocks they did what they had to do and about a week later got the right one in and called me, awesome. I had things to do, but later that night I had the opportunity, after a week of waiting, to try it out. Prop on, check. Surface controls, check. Surfaces moving correct direction. Check. As3x and SAFW working, check. Taxi it around on the ground for a minute to check every thing out, seems good. No wind, awesome, line up, throttle up, about 85-90%, pull back on stick it takes off, climbs to staggering height of maybe 10feet, the whole thing shakes violently, and starts to roll right, the propeller breaks in mid air, plane comes down. Flight time approx 20 secs.
So now the plane has a broken prop, that broke in flight, a bent prop adapter, don't know if it was bent when i got it or due to the fall, but it is a slight bend, and a broken motor mount, which i can't tell if it was damaged in the fall or when it violently vibrated in the air. And one of the wing struts mounting point broke.
I've had several other plans from eflite, and 3 helicopters, I've always been happy. But due to getting not one, but 2 defective planes in less then 24hours, and then having to wait a week to find out that the defect on the second plane (cub) wasn't the only one and is going to cost me like 60$to fix, sure is not that much money, but for a plane I spent 200$on and barely got it off the ground?? I don't know what happened to quality control but apparently it's not what it used to be.
