This is the ECX RC Ruckus 1/10 Scale Ready-to-Run Monster Truck. The Ruckus is a true ready-to-run Monster Truck that includes everything you need in one box. You read that right, everything’s included—right down to the AA batteries! The 2.4GHz radio system provides extended range and interference-free operation, while the waterproof electronics keep the truck running, no matter what the weather is like. A Dynamite 1800mAh Ni-MH battery and 2.0 amp peak charger are included and come pre-wired with high-current EC3 connectors.
The Ruckus was designed to be reminiscent of a real world-scale monster truck without looking too cartoonish. The Ruckus will tear through the neighborhood or backyard with ease, and because of its bulletproof chassis and extremely durable powertrain, maintenance is minimal. The 15T Dynamite motor gets the truck quickly up to speed, and thanks to the waterproof electronics and receiver the vehicle can easily handle anything Mother Nature throws its way.

I bought several of these as did friends and they never worked right--have a short range for radio reception, off and on glitch with car starting and stopping constantly--called A Main and Horizon who sent first a new Tx then a new speed control and neither changed anything. There is so much time into trouble shooting these things that still do not work.
Our school bought a dozen various ECX = Electrix cars and the majority have similar problems. I have called Horizon a number of times and they did send several radio components but most of the time the problem persisted. Though these have a low price and the plastic parts seem sturdy the electronics are usually worthless and discouraging to kids. Better to pay more for Traxxas or Associated and be happy for years.
