This is a good truck ive had one for about a year and a half and its worked great ive upgraded to spectrum DX2E and a 12t motor with xl-5 speed controller all ill say is this if youve owned anything that costs over 250-300 dont get this truck cause most of the complaints are from people who've owned more expensive rc's this is a starter truck and once you put a little money in it youll be very happy im at my local track and people who have traxxas and hpi cars think mine is some uber expensive truck and wanna know what fools them is that i changed the body to a proline baja bug so since they dont see a ecx body they show it more respect sad but true.

Al u are a joke i read the bigsquid answer to all your reviews and your bs and like he said if u have been in the hobby for so long would think u could trouble shoot a lot better. I got my son a product from ecx an they are great and durable. he loves it has a blast every run and they sell the metal gear trans already built so another plus..

ECX RC Circuit 1/10th Stadium Truck RTR w/2.4GHz Radio (Gray)
I bought two of these here as did friends and they never worked right--have a short range for radio reception, off and on glitch with car starting and stopping constantly--called Horizon who sent first a new Tx then a new speed control and neither changed anything. There is so much time into trouble shooting these things that still do not work.
Our school bought a dozen various ECX = Electrix cars and the majority have similar problems. I have called Horizon a number of times and they did send several radio components but most of the time the problem persisted. Though these have a low price and the plastic parts seem sturdy the electronics are usually worthless and discouraging to kids. Better to pay more for Traxxas or Associated and be happy for years.
