ECX AMP 1/10th Electric 2WD Desert Buggy RTR
I bought 1 of these buggy about 2 weeks ago and I really like it but I have had a few problems with it. The first problem I had was with the steering servo, every time I turned and let go the servo would over correct by about 1/4 of an inch from the center making it impossible to go in a strait line so I had to replace it. The second problem was with the 2 in 1 esc/receiver, the third time I turned on the car the throttle pulsed and then would only go forward so it had to be replaced too. Before I go any further I would like to say did drive it thru some water (nothing serious 1 to 1 1/2 inch deep puddles) so I don't know if that affected any thing. It does say waterproof but I think it lies. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Long story short I think the buggy it's self is great but if your just starting out and want your first hobby grade RC I would suggest getting the ECX circuit instead just because it comes with an extra $60 in electronics (not including the DX2E remote) for only $20 more. Now if you have been with this hobby for a while and have an extra esc and receiver laying around I definitely think you should pick one of these up because they are tough as nails and amazing bashers for the price. I suggest reading the review on it at RCSquid.com for a better understanding of this buggy.
