EcoPower "Electron 65 AC" LiPo/LiFe/NiMH AC/DC Battery Charger (6S/5A/50W)
I just got my charger , a very nice looking unit but when i plugged it in and hooked up the battery the scree scrambled and everything locked up I unplugged it and reconnected it and the same thing happened the third time it worked like it should however when charging my battery it was working fine untik i touched it and the screen blanked again. After e-mailing a main trey sent me a return postage label no questions ask. I'm sure the replacement will be better. I will keep buying from a main hobbies.

EcoPower "Electron 65 AC" LiPo/LiFe/NiMH AC/DC Battery Charger (6S/5A/50W)
okay this is my first time using lipo batteries and i have got to say for the price its pretty good. it will charge a 2s lipo 5000mah 30c lipo in a hour. i got this when i got my savage xs and it gets me back to running faster than the traxxas nimh charger. if i could get my savage xs running right i could give a much better review i've used this 6-8 times. it is simple and great for begginers and you just have 4 buttons so its farely easy if you have any problems i would call amainhobbies, they have one of the best customer service centers that i know. thanks,
josh

EcoPower "Electron 65 AC" LiPo/LiFe/NiMH AC/DC Battery Charger (6S/5A/50W)
AC didn't work with provided plug, only with one I took from an old computer. Neither fan comes on and it gets up to 170 degrees while charging a 4s Lipo.

EcoPower "Electron 65 AC" LiPo/LiFe/NiMH AC/DC Battery Charger (6S/5A/50W)
Horrible battery charger for a first time novice. Instructions don't even tell you if you have to plugin both bal and output connections at the same time to the battery. After playing with this for over 20 min I was done and pissed off I called customer service and they walked me through the 10 min whole process. No one cares about the 20 windows of information I just want to charge my FN batteries. Wow who ever designed this what a joke no one cares about all the information. It doesn't even give you confirmation if your battery is charging.I will be returning this tomorrow and looking for a charger that I can plug in my batteries and it says "CHARGING" and when their done it says "FINISHED CHARGING"! That is all I want none of this tech BS I'm not trying to launch the space shuttle with my battery charger. No one cares we just want to run our boats! "Anyway amin Tech support was great as always" but unless you need 20 options on your charger and don't care if it tells you if your batteries are charging or not this one is not for you! Assembling the black Jack boat and launching for the first time a breeze the charger not so good for me. Good Luck.

EcoPower "Electron 65 AC" LiPo/LiFe/NiMH AC/DC Battery Charger (6S/5A/50W)
I bought one of these under the ProTek name (2.5x the $) and got less than 20 2s charges out of it in a years time (due to bad weather here) before it started to re-boot at the start of charging. I called within a month after warranty period and A-Main would do absolutely nothing; Almost laughing at me for being a sucker. I too have severely limited the money I will spend with this place. This is a pungent example of what is wrong in the r/c business where too many companies sell garbage to continue to make money without care for their customers. Because of my experience with this charger (A-Main/ProTek version) I will stay far away from anything power related from A-Main and their re-branded junk; so much so, I will not pit near any of it or allow any of it near any of my property due to its probable erratic hazardous failures.

EcoPower "Electron 65 AC" LiPo/LiFe/NiMH AC/DC Battery Charger (6S/5A/50W)
i didnt have this one but the same make just bigger, can do 4 batteries at a time. well before reading the reviews on this one, i see its a piece of junk as well. mine the screen came apart and fell into the charger, and it keeps saying connection break. i called amain to exchange it for a different charger. i bought it over the winter never used it once, now that the weather is getting nicer i wanted to get everything ready. they said because its passed 3 months warranty (4 and a half) that they wont do anything for me. which is funny cause a spent a ton of money with them, as well that charger is now discontinued cause they know its a piece of shit. i will never buy anything from here again. horrible customer service. now i have to go spend another couple hundred bucks on another charger.
