DW Hobby Tiger Moth ARF Electric Airplane Kit (800mm)
Very happy with this plane, I bought the ARF version and put my own electronics in it, it was my first balsa ARF and I was a little nervous because of reviews claiming that it is tail heavy, I put a larger than recommended esc and motor and put a 3S 2200mah in the nose and it flew beautifully with a lemon 6 channel receiver.
If anything it is a little on the nose heavy side with that setup, I will try it with a 1300 and see what difference it makes.
Overall the kit goes together well and fairly decent instructions.

Finally finished dialing this plane in on a 3S 1300mah shoved all the way into the nose of the plane. I dialed back my elevator throw to 50% and it is really a nice flying plane.

DW Hobby Tiger Moth ARF Electric Airplane Kit (800mm)
This great model, will fly slow by, keeping the weight down, do not install the servos in the back use carbon rods and move them to the front cockpit also I took the rear tail wheel and heavy wire bracket off and mounted a light skid further forward all of this keeps you able to fly lighter I use to do this on Gws Tiger moths they flew slow and faster this is a beautiful model, would have loved to have the transparent underside but solid yellow is fine. Happy flights."Up dates",I will add that my motor on hand was a 1.3 ounce 370 but it balanced with a 500mah 11.1 lipo perfect and flys beautiful this is not a floater but wing loads are below 7 so very forgiving looks great in the air.
