The DW Hobby Stick 14 ARF Electric Airplane Kit is an aircraft that is a staple in any pilots hangar. It's unmatched in regards to its simplicity and versatility. Simply put, the Stick is an absolute joy to fly. Pilots have a huge flight envelope with the Stick, ranging anywhere from touch and go's, pattern flying, all the way to 3D flight. This proven design delivers a robust balsa wood platform, that is simplistic during assembly, and offers high quality materials.
Generously beveled control surfaces allow for up to 30 degrees of range in one direction, allows the stick to explore a huge variety of maneuvers while the thick fully symmetrical wing provides great stability, and wind penetration across a wide speed range. It's quad surface wing allows for pilots a variety of radio mixing options for both aileron to flap mixing, or even flaperon mixing for blistering fast roll rates. Slow speed performance is excellent when the flaps are dropped, providing pilots a uniquely slow landing aircraft - perfect for spot landings, and joyful touch and go's.

DW Hobby Stick 14 ARF Electric Airplane Combo Kit (1400mm)
I expected more for a $350.00 PNP. First, this is not an issue with Amain Hobbies, only about the plane. When I received the Stick 14 I went through to check out the condition of all the parts. I found that the kit came with 2 left wing sides. I contacted Amain who unfortunately had me send back the entire kit and then sent me a new kit. With the new kit in hand and all main parts correct, I began building the kit. I found it to be not so great for the money. I found connectors and rods to be cheap and too light. They included unusable axle rods, which I had to replace. Instruction manual is not great and strangely formatted. It showed parts that were not correctly included (nylon locking nuts were just regular nuts, etc.). No direct instructions on whether or not to glue the wing-halves together - a video shows someone gluing it together. Finally, the 60 amp ESC was DOA. Apparently these ZTW Beatles are crap and often arrive DOA. Too late to return it, so I had to buy a new one.
Overall, I cannot give this thing anything more than a single star. I do not recommend unless you have no issues replacing included parts. It was probably a 4-6 hour build. No problems with the balsa construction.
Caveat Emptor - someone is going to get a kit with two right wings.
