This is a set of two DuraTrax Pre-Mounted Equalizer 1/8 Buggy Tire in soft C2 compound on dish wheels. These tires are recommended as an all purpose tire, offering good performance on loose and loamy tracks as well as hard packed, abrasive track surfaces. I really like these tires. They hook up great on a dirt track that is dusty.

First run my tires started falling apart…not a good sign. The second run almost the entire center section has torn off. I literally haven’t done anything different than with my other sets of tires. No I didn’t just rev it to see if they would explode or something dumb. I just drove normal race speed and the tires are trash unfortunately. Maybe good for asphalt once the lugs all come off will be a great slick. ? don’t waste your money on these my friends.

Surprisingly good, especially for the price! I wore out the treads (C2 compound - soft) on my first set using them as a practice tire at my local track (Lake Park). That track is usually a hard packed, lightly sanded red clay mix that gets dusty and eventually loamy between groomings. Surface is slightly abrasive. Ambient temps during sessions were in the 50-70 F degrees range during the bulk of my sessions on that set. Tread wore out sooner that I anticipated, but my tire camber (rear) geometry was a bit out of whack for a few of those early sessions, causing some uneven tire wear. I liked them enough to buy a second set for practicing. I would have tried the C3 compound with the second set I recently purchased, but it wasn’t in stock.
